Do Blizzard games ever get price drops?

I want to play Starcraft 2 with a few friends, but the game has been out for almost 2 years and the price is still pretty much the same as it was during its release. Will it ever get cheaper?
 
nope just bite the bullet. you snag sc2 for 30-40 bucks, so idk what the problem is lol. best buy and gamestop just had it on sale i believe
 
They hit clearance at quite a few stores and sales occasionally, but not price drops. If you're in the area, check out your local Target (They hate games) or Toys R Us (
 
To give you an idea, the Diablo 2 battle chest, released in 2003, did get a price drop from $40 to $20..in this last January of 2012...

True, though Starcraft's battle chest has been $20 since at least 2003 (when I bought it).
