I was at software etc the other day to get a Xbox controller for a Halo 2 tournament. I wanted to get the official S one so that no one could complain that they lost because of a bad controller. While I was walking up to the counter, I heard the store manager (on a walkie talkie) tell his staff that who ever could sell the broken controllers will get $20 added to their pay check. So when I went up to th front, I asked for the Blue Controller S. The guy their immediately tried to get me to buy the broken one. He kept telling me how it was so cool because it had the GameStop logo on it and how it is the best controller available. I kindly told him no thanks, but he wouldn't listen, so I just walked out. Does this happen frequetly at game stores? Has anyone else experenced something like this before?
