Do I get achievements for OG Xbox games?

I can't imagine why I wouldn't, but I'm not sure and figured someone here would know. I was going to pick up Max Payne and some other cheapy OG Xbox games and just wondered whether I would get achievements if I play them on my 360.

No. There are no achievements built-in to old XBox games, so there's no way to unlock achievements.

Some people were hoping that when they released Halo on XBLM that it would have achievements, but that didn't happen either.
 
Does this mean your not going to play one of the most original 3rd person shooters of all time? Especially the one that 'created' bullet time?

Just because it doesn't have achievements?

Actually I've already played it on the PC. Still grabbing it for the benefit of cohabitators.

Couldn't agree more with you, good sir. Top notch game with compelling story.
