Do these look fake?

I don't think the pictures is good enough to tell if the boxes are real or not. usually the colors are slightly off compared to the real boxes, or darker or brighter or something.

While you're at it, avoid the Ninfendo carts too.

The entire picture looks dark, and it's hard to tell without seeing the games in person. The boxes and the carts look like the right ones to me, but I just can't tell from one dark picture...

The key things to watch for when bidding on GBA games:

1) Seller from Hong Kong, Korea, China or other Asian nation -> almost guaranteed pirated
2) Seller has only been registered for a couple of months, but has tons of feedback already from selling GBA games (usually means that they jump from account to account as they get shut down for selling pirated games)
3) Selling 'new' games, but says the box comes flattened to save on shipping
4) Is selling 'used' games, saying they didn't like it, but when you check their other auctions, you find they're selling dozens of copies of the same game (I remember about a week after Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green came out, a guy was selling DOZENS of both, and all his auctions said he beat the game and was selling it to get rid of it. If he actually beat 50+ copies of Pokemon in a week, he has problems...
5) Lots of spelling and grammar errors that make the auction sound like it was put up by a non-native English speaker

Assuming that the auction passes the above tests, its _probably_ legitimate. Maybe. Good luck :)

Ebay is full of GBA piraters. The only way to really tell, since that pic is pretty dark, is to bid and hope for the best... Good luck...

If the cart above the Final Fight box is supposed to be the Final Fight cart, then that's a fake. I got my cart from CC sale, and it doesn't look like that.

I can't really tell if the cart is supposed to be Final Fight One, or something else, so if it's something else then disregard my post.

The game above the Final Fight One box is Game & Watch Gallery Volume something. I can't read the number, but it's G & W Gallery...

Ah, then disregard my post

If fakes are just like the ones I bought in Shanghai, then you should request pictures of the instruction booklets. Also the back of the boxes tend to have English written on them that does not make sense - like the information was taken off the back of some other game. Also the printing on the actual cart looks stretched and pixelated.

I thought I got a good deal on Yoshi's Island and Harvest Moon but you can only play them for 5 minutes before they crash. They won't even boot up on my DS.

Five of the six boxed games (all except M&L:SS) are from the GBA 6-pack that BB cleared out for $30 last year. I doubt they are fakes.
