Do you leave a tip when you place a pick-up order?
I personally bon't like tipping. They are doing there job, if they're paid to deliver pizza, thats what they're paid for, why should I give them more. You shouldn't have to tip someone for doing there job.

But on the other not it is true if you don't tip they remember, as I had a friend who worked at a pizza joint and he said when the delivery guy came back to the shop he was all pissed and talking shit because I didn't give him a tip.

One more tipping story. My order once came to like $23 or something so I give her 2 $20 bills, and she just keeps all the change doesn't even hesitate to give me change. Just takes my money and puts it in her pocket. That was like a $17 tip!!!! But I din't want to be an ass and say "hey where's my change?" so I just let her go.
and that's when you say "if i can get 16 back that's fine" :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice Guy Eddie: C'mon, throw in a buck!
Mr. Pink: Uh-uh, I don't tip.
Nice Guy Eddie: You don't tip?
Mr. Pink: Nah, I don't believe in it.
Nice Guy Eddie: You don't believe in tipping?
Mr. Blue: You know what these chicks make? They make sh*t.
Mr. Pink: Don't give me that. She don't make enough money that she can quit.
Nice Guy Eddie: I don't even know a f'n Jew who'd have the balls to say that. Let me get this straight: you don't ever tip?
Mr. Pink: I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.
Mr. Blue: Hey, our girl was nice.
Mr. Pink: She was okay. She wasn't anything special.
Mr. Blue: What's special? Take you in the back and suck your "rooster"?
Nice Guy Eddie: I'd go over twelve percent for that.

It depends. Maids at hotels, yes(they got a hard job and dont get paid much). Pizza delivery boys, no(I just dont like them). Waiters, sometimes. I usually just leave a five or something when I do tip.

I thought the whole point of a tip was to leave a certain amount based on the caliber of the service in which you were served? Well, since nobody is serving you anything, and you aren't being waited on by some high school chick, then there is no need to tip. It's their job, I don't expect a tip everytime I open some old chick's pudding cup, I'm just doing my job.

places already inflate the hell out of the food they sell.... why do they expect to be paid more for simply making the food you paid for? Seems pointless to leave a tip for takeout.

I tip at least a little (I'm a poor college student!) since I used to work in food service and understand how important tips are to them.
