Do you like balls or rods ;)

Recently been using the Tekken 5 stick, and although I think its great for the price. I just wish it would be a rod style stick than the ball type. Most of my asian gamer friends perfer the ball style though. So getting a poll on what people perfer.

As far as my balls and rods.

I have a Hot Rod SE (Rod style)
Arcade Candy Cabinet with SF2 T (Balls) swaping out though
Tekken Stick (Ball)
Nasty Cheap pelican stick (Ball)

i like the ball for the older 2D fighters, but all the newer 3D and 2D ones demand that you be ridiculously fast with the stick. i like the rod better for those. so i like to handle the rods and fondle the balls on the side.

A ball is fine for older games like Pac-Man, but I need an actual rod/stick for fighters. A couple friends enjoy using the Tekken Stick but I'm terrible on it.

Balls are for vintage games like Ms Pac man....you need a nice firm rod to get you through a Iron Fist Championship....

Balls are all fine and good for goofing around, but when you mean bidness, you gotsta work the shaft.
