Does anybody know about these 6000 XboX Live Point Accounts for Sale?

I see these pop up on eBay from time to time - an account for sale with 6000 live points for about the price of a 1600 point card. I know putting the account on my console allows other users on the console access to DLC. Anybody used these before? Is there a chance of getting banned?
