does anybody know how to custom paint the new PS2(the skinnyer one)?

hi i just got a new ps2 and i was wondering in anybody knew how to either take it apart so i could customize it myself or if they could find somebody or something that could show me how?
 
well wait a minute, maybe i should explain myself... first off you void the warrenty on a brand new system if you were to open it, secondly, black is the best color ever and you just shouldn't f*** with that, and third, your an idiot if you don't understand either steps 1 or 2

However, if you give up in your quest to modify your PStwo, you can always sell it to me. Enjoy your stay here at CAG. You will come across a flaming faggot every now and then, but do not be discouraged or intimidated.

No one really answered the guys question. If you really want to paint your PStwo, do some research on console case modding. The quick answer is vinyl dye, but you really do need to do some reading first. If you've never opened up a console, you might want to think twice about it as well.

Listen to CouRageouS... research is key to modding... find out as much as humanly possible about what you can and cannot do. I know there are plenty of xbox sites that are dedicated about hardware/software mods (the legal kind... aka controller mods etc..) so, there probally is some correclations with the care and preperations necessary to modd the PS2 case. But research is the key. You may want to do a google search with "console case mod" as the search terms. Good luck.

PS~this is not only time consuming... but addictive.

you cant dye black. As far as takng it apart.. you just do it. remove the cover slowly and carefully.
You wil have to use a paint that adheres to plastics.

Besides that I wouldn't fuck with it. I just got a clear case for the original ps2 and I am painting it on the inside so it has a perfect finish and won't look like i painted it
 
If you have access to an automotive quality, enamel paint sprayer (and have the knowledge and skill to use it).. it will turn out as good or better than what most factory paint jobs look like... especially after a few clear coat applications.
