Does EB pricematch anymore?

I haven't shopped regularly at EB for over 4 years. Back then, their return policy was more liberal and they pricematched the competition (generally provided a more customer-friendly environment). Now I can understand changes in their return policy, but I get the distinct impression they don't pricematch anymore. Is this true?

Does Gamestop pricematch?

For both EB and GS mall stores are far more likely to PM. It's highly YMMV though.

It doesn't look like it's a company-wide policy for EB to pricematch anymore. They used to have a sign over the register proclaiming that they would match local competitor's prices. I guess since EB has grown so large and is more well known, there is probably less of an incentive for them to PM.

EB has truely become a "boutique".

Actually, mall EB's are less likely to PM.

But no, for the most part, they don't pricematch. Mine also doesn't accept checks, YMMV.
