Does the GH3 guitar work on Rock Band?

Title says it. I know there are issues with the 360/PS3 versions of the games, wondering if it's that way on the Wii too. My nephews have GH3 and guitars, but I wanted to get them Rock Band for Xmas.

The Guitar Hero 3 controller will work with Rock Band 2 on the Wii. It will not work with Rock Band 1.

Yeah, it'll work with the AC/DC Track Pack and Rock Band 2, but not with the first Rock Band or the two track packs released for it.

My aftermarket Nyko Frontman wii guitar works with RB2.
