Honestly I wouldn't trade with anyone with that high of feedback since they have negatives. It would be so easy for them to blow off 1 auction, and a single negative would barely affect them.

And, if someone has low feedback, they are less likely to care because it wouldn't be that hard to build their feedback back up, or start over with a new account, lol. Sorry, but your reasoning just doesn't fly. High feedback rating with high feedback percentage is the best indication that someone WON'T screw someone over, not that they would screw someone over.

There is no possible confusion in the listing. It is for the system.

"Item is UNUSED in FACTORY SEALED box". "IN" box, not "is" box. Plus, there is no way the box could be factory sealed and NOT contain the system. If it isn't the system, then the seller is blatantly lying, and you could get your money back. You could always send the seller a question about it.

I love this one:

All non-paying bidders will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

If they don't pay you for the auction, do you really think they'll pay you a restocking fee ?

And if you don't pay and they don't ship, then the item was never 'unstocked' to begin with.

Dude, there's a link on the page that says "Ask Seller a Question". What do you think that link is for?

Make the seller clarify any doubt you have. Any guesses here are just that. No one can tell you with absolutel certainty what's on auction other than the seller, unless he lies to you intentionally.

Maybe it's because I just woke up, but I don't see where the 'or' is that is troubling you?

Wait a minte I see what you mean now. Hmmm, very poor choice of words on his part IMO. You are right that if you take that sentence at face value he's saying you get either what I typed in this listing OR what I'm showing you in the picture.

But given the guy's great feedback I'd be pretty confident he's selling a real sealed PS2.

Good idea sending him a question. Heck, I'd quote that sentence and say it made you concerned the picture is just of an empty box and you wanted to make sure you'd be bidding on an actual sealed box with a PS2, etc. inside. If he doesn't reply or his reply is weird, forget about that auction.

dont stress feedback like that. posting is incompetent, but the sellers obviously not dishonest.. not only is the text unclear, but the word playstation is omitted from the title, making it invisible in searches for "playstation 2"--thatll keep the price down for want of exposure, and it is further evidence that goofball isnt very good at being clear and competent. but id definitely trust that feedback. if we were talking about a "clever" thief, he wouldve been clever enough to include the word playstation in the title.

But if you're re-listing it, they could be referring to "restocking" as "relisting..." Then again, 25% of $125+ for a $2-5 auction...er...no?
