Doom 3 regular vs. collector's edition

Just wondering how they handle the bonus content. Is it like MechAssault 2, where you can download all the LE content if you have XBL? Or can I only get Ultimate Doom and Doom 2 by getting the LE version?

All the extra content on Doom 3 CE is also on Doom 3 RoE, so the only reason (literally) to get Doom 3 CE is for the tin case.

Plus more (extra content in RoE), but if you aren't planning on getting RoE then you do have to buy the CE.

cool, I didn't even know about RoE. Thanks for the info guys. I just saw the regular edition at the TRU clearance so I picked it up without doing any research. Nice to know I can just pick up RoE later and not miss out on anything.

Yeah, but the DOOM 3 Collector's Edition comes with DOOM 3. Resurrection of Evil doesn't...

Regular vs. Collector's Edition? Collector's Edition, by far. However, if it's a matter of ten dollars, get the regular edition.
