Doritos/Aramark XBox Contest (US Only, Tropicana Trick Works?)

Charron

CAGiversary!
www.doritos-aramark.com

Ends Dec. 2, 2007

I only tried twice because I'm busy, but I did two runs with the exact same data, except the e-mail, and it let both go through. (They both lost, but still.) Your code is semi-unique; there are 4, one for each region of the US. But you can get it free on the site. Looks like they'd be tighter than Tropicana, though, so you probably won't be able to get 20+ games.
Upon submitting your Promotion Code, (a) the Website will immediately notify you as to whether or not you are a potential winner of an Instant-Win Prize and (b) you will be entered into the random drawing for the Grand Prize (collectively, both [a] and constitute a “Play”). You may also receive a free Promotion Code online without making a purchase by clicking on the Promotion Code request link on the Website. Limit one (1) Play/entry per person per day during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one (1) Instant-Win Prize per household. Limit one (1) Grand Prize per household. If you receive a winning Instant-Win Prize message, you win the stated prize (subject to verification) and will be immediately notified online. You may still come back each day to play, however, you will receive a non-winning Instant-Win Prize message but will continue to receive entries into the Grand Prize drawing. If you receive a non-winning Instant-Win Prize message, you are not a winner of an Instant-Win Prize, however, you will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing.

4. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:
Ten (10) Grand Prizes: Microsoft® Xbox 360™ System. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $410 each. Grand prizes will ship within 8-12 weeks after the end of the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning a Grand Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received. INSTANT-WIN PRIZES: One Hundred and Fifty (150) First Prizes: Microsoft® Xbox 360™ title. Choice of title will be determined by Sponsor, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. ARV $39.95 each. Two Hundred and Fifty (250) Second Prizes: A Black DORITOS® Unlock Xbox T-Shirt. Available sizes: Large or X-Large. Winner may request a certain size, however, Sponsor reserves the right to the final determination of the T-shirt size to be awarded. ARV $4.99 each. Odds of winning an Instant-Win prize depend upon the number of eligible entrants participating and the time in which they participate. Unclaimed Instant-Win Prizes will not be awarded. Total ARV of all prizes is: $11,340.

Grand Prize winners (one per region) will be selected on or about December 17, 2007 from among all eligible entries received by an independent judging organization whose decisions shall be final.

Entered twice both times the code was Nacho for me and both times I got the same bags of chips showing.
Well, the code should be the same, but the images part is a little questionable. I dunno, hopefully it works for someone.

I'm curious, at any given point in time does it reqiere an email verification?
Edit: also is the 3 dorito bags picture the same for every time you don't win?
Edit2: This is also very annoying, I've entered about 10-15 times and not gotten anything.

It's a contest and we're manipulating it, there really isn't any room for complaining here.

I entered 3 times with different emails and each time I lost and the bags were the same. first bag was a red bag of doritos, second bag was a blue bag of doritos, third was a red bag of doritos.

All my loss where that way to, I think my win had 3 blue bags, not sure.

Well, becuz is saying it did work, so perhaps the very thin prize distribution is why it seems like it doesn't work.

I dunno. I'm still focusing on the Tropicana one, but this might reap some rewards for somebody.
Hey, thanks for the heads up, OP. Anyone know how to keep the browser from resizing in Mozilla Firefox?
IDK it does it in internet explorer as well

I won a shirt on my first try! I really am a winner! Thanks OP. One prize per household, so don't think that you're going to be able to get all kinds of prizes from them like with the Tropicana contest.
so....does the tropicana trick work?

i tried about 20 times with no luck and keep getting 2 red bags and 1 blue bag in the middle
same here, I tried it yesterday..
So is the only prize a shirt? If so count me out.
Grand Prize (10) is an Xbox 360, First place prize is a Xbox 360 video game (150) worth around 40, meaning it's probably a Greatest Hits game? =p It doesn't take too long to read the FIRST page.:D
Congrats! So, was your code still Nacho?
yeah the code was still nacho I tried 9 times before I won

I used 3 different emails and I changed the name but left the address the same. (I used my brothers names) I tried once a day for each email and today I won and it said they were sending me a verification to my email.

withthe doritos contests, you usually don't wanna screw around. They'll DQ you if they find out you've been using multiple accounts. Plus the send a confirm e-mail when you win.

I won a t-shirt on my second try! (entered once per day)
Yay!

LOL, I'll put it with my Dunkin' Donuts coolatta t-shirt that I won in that contest. Dammit, why can't I ever win big stuff? Hehe.

Well first try, won a 360 game, but then I click next and it just says they email me with 1-2 weeks. (I guess to verify). Guess I won't have to be entering multiple times :D Also didn't let me choose what game I wanted.

I got the shirt on my first try, but might as well try some more.

For those who have one games, did you use the nacho code and also what color were the bags of doritos for the winning try. Also after having read the rules I found this
Obtain a Promotion Code from advertisements posted on vending machines carrying DORITOS® brand products; available at participating locations during the Sweepstakes Period.
Anyone seen any of these different codes around?
For those of us that don't know, what's this so called "tropicana trick"?
Adding +### (any numbers work) between your name and the @gmail.com part of your email. Or, just signing up over and over with multiple emails. But the gmail trick lets you do hundreds of entries. No idea if it works on other webmail services, but it's easy to get a throwaway gmail account.

I did it and it said I won "a Microsoft XBox 360 title!
(Pending verification)"

Code was nacho and the bags were red.

What kind of verification I wonder.
The site doesn't let you use a + sign in the email...
You actually add a number to the email address.... you don't put the plus sign.
You actually add a number to the email address.... you don't put the plus sign.
It's not working for me :p. It works with the + sign though... (tried from outlook)

It may be because my gmail ends in numbers anyway?
You actually add a number to the email address.... you don't put the plus sign.
Wait doesn't that mean someone else could hold idk darkchaostitan123@gmail
or something then I wouldn't be able to get the prize for the verification, or does gmail use a different appending system... I think I get the idea where appending different numbers on the end of the name will get you the same gmail account but a different entry, I just need to know if that's correct
Thx
