I just flew out to my local Meijer (Rolling Meadows IL) and the price was 29.99. Oh well, t was worth a shot.

Picked mine up in KY, there was no ad. I had the lady scan it and it rang up @ 12.49 thx for posting this.
 
I got mine today. It's marked as 29.99, but I had the ad just in case. To my surprise it rang up at 12.49 so I didn't even need to price match it.
 
The game was marked $29.99 but rang up $12.49. The store was having some kind of 10% sale off all general merchandise (i.e., non-groceries), so I ended up getting two copies for $23.83 total, after tax. Sweet deal.
 
wouldnt it be smarter to go to Best buy or CC buy the game for 30 bucks.. wait a day take the ad in and get 10% back

30-13 would be 17 x .10 =1.70 -12.49 = 10.79
 
I tried to take advantage of this today, but the Meijer I went to was out of stock. I'll try another location tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up OP, I rarely look at the Meijer ad.

Wouldn't it take more then a $1.70 of gas to go to BB twice?
 
Yay... i printed out the online AD then head to local SEARS store and score 1 copy for $11.XX after pricematch.

first i must say thanks OP

I live in Dekalb IL (GOing to school here) and i just so happens that i went home to see my girlfriend in Franklin park on Sunday and we went to woodfield mall to do some christmas shopping.
We went to a Meijer by the mall and they were clean out!!!!!! it was bearly 1pm! then we went to wal-mart to price match and it looked like they either didnt get the game in or they sold out. Next we went to CC and luckly they had 1 copy left.

I had never price matched before so i was a little nervous even though i had the ad. CC asked no questions and price matched me with no hassals.

ALSO:
For those of you who missed out on this deal at their local meijer: Just get a raincheck and if for some reason you cant get to your local Meijer to get the rain check then just PM me. i picked up a raincheck but dont need it.
 
WOW good deal! I was wanting this but didn't want to pay full price. Hopefully I can pick this up in the morning. The only thing I ever play on my SP is Tetris DX, I love puzzle games. :D

Well, a few years ago, the Chicago area had neither, and now we have both. Still, I haven't been blown away by any deals, so far. Some good ones, but nothing mind-altering.

Meijers is expensive on 95% of their everyday priced stuff. I only go for the good weekly sales (not very often) and the super saturday sales from like 6-11am. Other than that Walmart is much cheaper.



UPDATE: For those wanting to do a PM, you'll need the flyer with the electronics stuff on the cover. In my area we only received the food ad in the mail and the other ad you can find in the store. My store was sold out but I did get a raincheck and I kept the store ad and will try to buy it tomorrow at Walmart.
