Dragon Ball GT lightning deal 25.99

Didn't see it posted yet, but amazon has the entire GT series as a lightning deal for 25.99. Unfortunately it's DVD and not bluray, or else I'd be all over it. Sorry I can't link it, posting from my phone.

Probably not. I just have issues with buying non bluray collections. Too many discs and whatnot. Plus, I'm mildly OCD about it.

I jumped on this. It was a steal at this price. Outside of reducing the number of disks and/or exclusive special features...there really is no point of waiting for anime on Blu because the picture quality isn't going to be THAT much better. Maybe for the option of listening in Japanese 5.1...but I don't ever do that anyway so I'm fine with DVD.

This has the same DNR issues as the orange Z box sets unfortunately. That's what has kept me from picking it up.

Dragon Ball GT got the Dragon Box treatment in Japan. Wouldn't be surprised if FUNi tries to milk the series by releasing that version over here within the next couple of years.
