Dragon Quest IV, V, VI remakes for DS! (no more question mark)

At minimum it's a port of the PSX version, which added a ton of new content (including an entire new chapter) over the NES original.

It's my favorite FF battle system. I like that you can see the turn order and affect it strategically. Similar to Grandia.

If you liked DQ8 (old-style RPG with newer graphics), then play FFIV or VI before X. Personally, I didn't like X all that much compared to some of the older FFs. It's certainly worth playing, though. I liked XII much more than X just because of the game play and mechanics, even though the story in X was much better than XII.
 
I've played an english ROM of DQ5 in the past.. its a really great game, with the strongest story in any DQ game I've played (better than 7 and 8)
 
This website has a bunch of new scans of the upcoming DQ IV game.

I like the very last scan, showing combat screens and the caravan wagon moving around the overworld. It's been a long time since I've played DQ IV (12 years or so) but seeing that caravan really takes me back.

Damn, I want this game all the more now.
