If you want better results start a snail-mail letter-writing campaign, make a website for said campaign (with a fairly strong overall design), send your page and info over to a few of the gaming mags to increase your support once both are established and see what happens.
Otherwise, simply put, companies don't give a half a damn about internet petitions or pleas on websites. Snail-mail letters, however, let them know that there is some actual fan-commitment and effort involved since anyone can type an e-mail in a minute or fill out an electronic form in 30 seconds.
Oh, and don't use form letters. Most companies view that as about equivalent to an online petition.
