That's true. However they still did the port regardless in which they were LAZZZZZY !
The fact that they did it to their prized franchise sonic in this case Makes them look worse. Last good game they did was valkyria chronicles.

You guys do know that different studios within the company handle these things and doesn't actually reflect on the company as a whole, right? That's like saying Sega doesn't know how to make good games just because Sonic Team churned out one bad Sonic game after another.

We know that but I'm sure Sonic Team isn't the same Sonic Team members who used to dominate the Genesis/SegaCD/Saturn/Dreamcast days. Likewise with AM2, Yu Suzuki no longer makes anything anymore. All the other former awesome teams don't seem to be making anything either. Thesedays, Sega as a whole can't make anything good or fun ever since they went mutiplatform software only, be it new IP, endless Sonics (Unleashed, Sonic 4, Colors were decent but not great), or ports of semi modern consoles (not counting Master System/Genesis ports etc...). Though I have to give them a little credit for Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Out Run Online ports. Hoping the upcoming Sega Rally Online will be a good port too.

They went through a rough patch, but they're doing pretty good, and it's certainly not true to claim they make nothing good.

Valkria Chronicles is way too hard, but other than that is clearly both new and well executed. The Yakuza series is excellent. The past TWO Sonic games have been well received for the first time in over a decade perhaps, etc.

The only hard part for me while playing that wonderfull masterpiece was the dreaded chapter 7 ( that cheap bit*h silvaria made it almost impossible) where are you stuck at ?

I don't get it, Valkria Chronicles is so good, yet sales don't show it. Even all the big publications gave it 90% or better reviews.

Worst part is, it actually did very well in Japan and Sega decided it should become PSP fodder instead of a console series (though to be fair, the PSP does okay over there). Sucks we'll never get VC3.

The PSP's done as well as the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

So we're not getting the third? That's disappointing even though I didn't buy the second because the original is way too hard. Not sure where I got stuck, but it was pretty early on. Hate how that genre isn't accessable anymore except by experts. I think it's got a broader appeal than that, but everyone just makes games for experts :(

I disagree with the "expert" comment. It only took a couple hours of playing through the missions to get myself accommodated to the game's strategy. It just takes a little dedication, while I can agree the genre isn't as accessible as FPSs, or other types of RPGs, it is probably more enjoyable to most people (interested in RPGs). It's a very interactive system.

Valkyria Chronicles is definitely my favorite SEGA game. They're retards for not recognizing Shenmue 3, and VC2/3. But whatever, perhaps they'll go bankrupt and another company will take the copyrights, risks, and we'll have the games that SEGA won't risk making.

I didn't find VC that hard really. There were a few battles I did have to retry, but this game is WAY more forgiving then say Fire Emblem. I don't know how many times I had to reset the console for FE, whether it was because someone died (since in Fire Emblem, they are gone forever) or because of a crappy level up. Reminds me how Shining Force was the casual man SRPG back in the day.

And before the king of trolls say it, yes I know people can die for good in VC, but only if they are critically wounded and you were unlucky.
