Dreamcast Power Supply Question

I've been having problem with one my Dreamcast consoles. The console won't boot up a couple games and shuts down after a couple minutes with the games that do work.

I looked at the power cord and noticed that it's labeled with a different voltage than the DC. My DC is listed as: AC 120V 60Hz 27W. I have two different power cords. One is listed 7A 125V and the other is listed 7A 125V 875 (or 87.5)W. I got both of the consoles when EB was clearancing them out for $20 so I think they just packaged any old power cord with them.

So do you guys think my problems might be related to the mismatched power cords or do I need to crack the damn thing open to see what's going on? Does anyone have an original DC power cord that says something different? Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know if I can be of any help but the power cord(s) I have with my DC both are 7A-125V and I have no issues with the DC.

The cord does not matter in the slightest.

Thanks guys. I'll see what I can do to repair the console. My other console is working fine but I didn't want to screw it up by using the wrong power cord.

yeah i use the same cord for my ps2 xbox and dc.
