Drive Your Bar Stool Home, Get a DUI

There should be alot more fines and penalties... and I'm surprised that it wasn't impounded.

I wonder how serious it would have been if he ran into someone...

Yeah, in most states you can get a DUI on anything with wheels and a motor.

One of our neighbors in the white trash town I grew up in in WV got a DUI on a lawn mower once years back.

What about stumbling, overly, trying to get home? Like, swaying a lot. To the point of knocking, say a little dog or child into oblivion because of your drunk sway.

I imagine a ticket would be in the works if you swayed in incoming ticket.

My ex's dad would make beer runs on his lawnmower when he ran out. She and I were at the gas station together once, and he rolls up in his lawnmower to gas up and buy another case of beer. She turned to me and made a comment about the redneck driving the riding mower, then realized it was her dad. If the shoe fits, sweetheart - the nut don't fall far from the tree.

He thought he couldn't get a DUI on it. But he probably couldn't though, being good friends with the Chief Deputy and all. Small town/small county Ohio. Cincinnati is at least a little better.

I would have to guess if he was driving on the road, or on the sidewalk... road will get driving a non-legal vehicle since he admittedly going 20+ which then admits to going 40+.

I'd almost would guess that history on this person.. multiple DUI's, maybe a license revoke.... I don't know why else someone would rig up a bar stool and drive the damn thing (driving it to a bar and driving home smashed).

What's so controversial about this? I think it's funny and can show how creative some people can get during these tough times.

Well, for one thing, it looks like he didn't install his bar stool properly (according to the photo). He's also driving with a license plate. No taillights either.

I recently heard a story of some guy that crashed his bike while drunk and the paramedics/cops woke him up on the street. I wouldve been like, "I was walking home and some guy hit me with his bike and ran off!"
