seems like the DS Lite's June release is having some effects

With the lite around the corner, I don't think anybody is interested in picking up a regular DS right now. The prices for these things will plummet once the lite comes out.

I'd have to agree, esp since it's less than a month away. If you buy a DS now you'd just be kicking yourself. I'm glad I sold my old DS long ago.

Well having picked up the regular DS with Mario Kart for $100($111 shipped)off of Amazon/Toys R US. I can not justify spending 55 bucks more just to have a little brighter screen and a little smaller system.

Actually its a LOT brighter, lighter, and smaller. On top of that it also has better battery life. It is also a lot prettier.
 
I sold my DS w/ 1 cheapass DS game for $80 2 months ago and waiting for DS LITE coming soon in June 11. Ofcourse i'll get New Super Mario Bros. later today or tomorrow at CC, hope i can get it for $23.49 + Taxes after pricematch $5 off bestbuy coupon :)
 
yea kinda like the ipod nano and mini. there's a big difference even if the 4gb nano is 249 and the mini can be bought for 179 size matters
 
I guess there is no one like me out there, some one who wants to buy all the Game Boys in order. I bought the origianl GB a while back then I bought the GB pocket, now I gotta get the Color and after it the GBA. Then the GBA SP, then the DS then the Micro and finally the Lite.

He's talking about the Japanese only GameBoy Light, a system a big larger than a GameBoy Pocket with a backlit indigo screen.

This might seem like a deal but I'd be careful... chances are Nintendo will drop the price of the regular DS to $100 when the DSL comes out (at $130).

Collecting all the Game Boys, sure. Collecting them all in order, I doubt it. Why would you pass up a great deal on, say, a GBA SP just because you don't have a GBA yet?

Not Japanese only, I almost bought one at Target right before the Gameboy Pocket came out.

EDIT: Out of curiousity I looked it up and everywhere seems to say that it was only released in Japan. I swear I saw it at Target years ago!
