By the way, if a molester can drive his car, search for people (who are by definition, kids) and send messages via pictochat at the same time (not as easy of a feat as you'd like) asking for teh secks, he probably deserves it.

that is a seriosu threat. think about it not only can they send you kids dirty messages or pictures but then they will try to use the old i lost my dog trick by playing nintendogs with your kids. then the next thign you knwo theyre setting up nintendog playdates and bribing your kids with the diff items theyve unlocked in their copy of the game. next thing you know hes making your kids somethign to eat in that cooking mama game and then its all down hill from there............


i shudder to think how a child molester will use the touch screen to abuse your children. if we dont nip it in the bud now they will be sending your kids perverted Mii's through the wii and after a week or so of having to input the friend codes from their real friends they will finally get to the predators friend code and be surprised with child molesterers mii in their wii...........and i wont even go into how the wiimotes deep level of gaming interactivity will only make thing easier for them to abuse kids even further in more innovative and entertaining ways............
 
Could that story have been any more retarded? Honestly. The only way they could have made it worse is if they said that not only can predators use pictochat to communicate with your children, but every DS sold has code built in that taps into the NAMBLA registry so that pervs can find your kids wherever they are via GPS.

Just think when they get wind of the Opera web browser. MySpace on your DS! OMG pervs will be beating down your doorstep!
 
I actually have my DS velcroed to the steering wheel of my Pikachu yellow VW Beetle. It makes it alot easier to write messages to all those little hottie kids in the back of moms minivan when Im out cruising the McDonalds Playlands of my town looking for romper room ass.

Anyone who watches local news either can't afford a DS or isn't intelligent enough to own a DS

Aside from that, local news CAN ONLY SURVIVE BECAUSE OF SENSATIONALIST STORIES: either "in depth looks" as to why drinking a Dr.Pepper and eating a banana on the same day can give you cancer, or how teenage girls are getting breast augmentation surgery so that they can flash their breasts at parties they visit with fake ID's, or my favorite, a through examination of how the Internet can murder your sister in law's grandchildren's puppy.
 
This asshat from this retarded station is always stirring up some scaremonger shit. I think this week I saw it was about heroin use in the suburbs. As if it's okay when they use heroin downtown with all those niggers and mexicans, but kids doing heroin in white bread suburbs demands attention. fuck this channel.
 
I like how he basically said "gaming gurus are predicting that..." and his source was Reggie. I mean, yeah, obviously one of the senior guys at Nintendo is hyping the DS. Get a real source, Mr. Reporter.

And by the way, I'm not saying what he said was wrong, just that he didn't disclose who Reggie was and to use him as a source for what he was commenting on without mentioning who he is, is kind of ridiculous.
 
My favorite part is when he asks the girl her address and she gives it to him, and the mom looks so shocked. Maybe her kid is really gullible. Or maybe, just MAYBE, she realizes the dumb shit who's messaging her is down-fucking-stairs and already knows her damn address. Maybe?

I didn't see the story in question, but is it really false? Usually, they couch this as, look what can happen. If there was no such thing as Pictochat on the Nintendo DS, then it would be false. But, could it happen? Sure, it could happen, so it really isn't slander or false. They aren't saying it happens all the time, they really say it could happen, so you should be terrfied, and keep watching local whatever news.

A meteor could fall from space and crash thru the roof of your house and kill you. That doesnt mean your local news should do a scare piece on it.

'Hey, it could happen' is not legitimate reason for this kind of trash 'reporting'.
