DS Lite $74.97 at RadioShack B&M

dam psp 3000 for $80 i spent 199.99 the month rockband unplugged bundle came out for anyone needing handhelds this is a steal.

With so many good deals like my controllers i got makes me think they are going out of business and this is last resort.

Was hoping to grab one during my break at work, but the closest radioshack that had any in stock was like 25 minutes away, so I couldn't make the drive. Luckily, my parents were home and the store 2 min down the street had a bunch in stock. My parents called the store and held a silver one, and the lady said they had 3-4 of each color in stock (white, silver, pink, red, blue). By the time my parents got to the store about 20-30min later to grab the system, the silver one they held was the only system left. At least they were able to help me score my wife a new DS for Christmas :)

People are definitely hoarding these up quickly though. If you want one then you have to get out there now!

I might consider picking up one for someone from CAG, but only if they paid what I paid for it plus the real shipping costs, since I'd rather the cash back versus trading for more stuff I don't need.:booty:

There's supposedly a Cobalt Blue one at a RS near me and other ones a little further off, but chances are I wouldn't get more than just the closest one since I'm low on cash right now and gas just spiked over $3 a gallon here.:cry:

Is anyone who bought a "silver" for $64.97 actually getting the silver color?

I went in this morning to the store right around the corner from me that was showing the crimson red/black in stock. I get in there and the chick tells me they have both red and silver in stock, goes in the back and brings out both. Scans them, the "silver" rings up at $64.97, crimson/black for $74.97, so I tell her I'll get the silver, which was the color I wanted the most anyway. She denied my coupon, already knew the terms and conditions of it without even looking at it...I told her I'd buy the $3 case/stylus set she was shilling at me if she took my coupon :lol: still, no.

Back to my question, I was in a rush so I didn't get a good look at the box till I was in my car, the "silver" is actually Polar White according to the box. Oh well, for $65 I can replace my white I'm planning on re-casing with a Crimson Rose replacement case for my daughter. Good deal, just those that say they got the "silver" for $64.97, double check your boxes to make sure the cashier didn't make the same mistake mine did. ;)
 
I'm stilling thinking of a lower price. I still remember when I got a GBA micro for 25 bucks at Walmart but I don't think I'll see something drop like that again.
 
Crap, no luck. It had my local store(Lakeland, FL) listed as having a black one, but no luck. Was hoping to get a neutral color at the very least, but all they had was 1 pink left. Guess I'll keep my eye out for other deals, wanted to get this for my little brother back in MI but I couldn't take the pink one. I think it's going to make a wonderful 1st gaming system for him.
 
Snagged the last one for $75 before tax. A Red DS, thankfully the color I wanted.

I was there first thing and it seemed like a SDer had all the other ones on hold (about 10 in one store and 5-6 in another) greedy idiot.

FYI. they also have a huge sale on DS and PSP accessories, picked up a DS starter kit (case, 3x stylus, headphone, screen covers..) for only $3

Picked up the last 2 in Cerritos, CA. Got there at the perfect time too, the dude that showed up after me was looking for one, and then a call came in for one as I was checking out.

EDIT: Both were silver and rang up at $74.XX
 
I got one at a Radio Shack near work in NY that I didn't even know existed but the whole thing very strange. There were none in the store. I had to ask the clerk if he had one and he said maybe. I asked him how much they were and he said he would check. He then went to the back and after about 10 minutes returned with the blue/black one and white one. He asked which one I wanted and he said that depends. I said depends on what? The color? He asked me how much I thought it was. I told him around $75 and he rang it up properly. I've been to other Radio Shacks and they always seemed like regular chain stores. This one reminded me of stuff comic and sportscard stores used to pull in the past.

That's why I let my one friend from CAG/PSN know about the cobalt blue one at the RS over on his side of town, since I'd rather a CAG/friend get it than some reseller. Although he and I do flip games, so technically BOTH of us are resellers(at times).

If I had the cash I'm getting from my trades to SecondSpin.com already I would probably pick up the blue one for myself though, as I've wanted a DSL and I missed out on that Blockbuster 'clearance' that was temporary for $79.99 a while ago.:bomb:

I just hate spending real cash, so if I had it my way I'd probably just return the copies of Front Mission Evolved I had Best Buy price match for me and buy it there via a PM.;)

About as cheap as you're gonna find a new DS Lite. If I didn't have to pay on my Red Wii layaway I'd jump on this.

Ah well... 3DS will be here before I know it & I need to start saving my pennies for that one. I suspect the 3DS will kick so much ass.

Yeah, probably too late by now given the reports. Glad I left work when I did. One guy picked up a silver one right before me (rung up at $65) but fortunately, they had the blue/black one ($75) so I picked it up and it was the last DSL in the store.

Went to one more that didn't show stock since it was on my way back and the district (about 930ish) showed singles at some stores including the one I just came from which I know was sold out. So I didn't bother with going to check anywhere else as it was likely a waste of gas. Was happy with the one I got.

They rang up 64.99! Called every another store and they said some guy had claimed all 11 of them....I said really? Your going to hold 11 of these for some jackass to sell on ebay? "Yes sir.."

I was lucky to find an extra Crimson DS (SF Bay Area) local CAG wanting to pay 74.97 + tax. Or any other CAG willing to pay shipping costs as well. I would prefer a local CAG, since I don't know how much shipping costs would be.


I am in the Sunnyvale-Foster City area, the total is $82.24 with tax.

Got a call from a friend who wanted one but couldn't get one right away so I went to buy it for him and when I got there some guy in front of me was buying one as well, he asked if he could get one of every color and the lady replied with "one per customer because we've had lots of calls about them today" the guy then proceeded to flash a stack of cash and the lady said "one per customer" again and the guy got pissed and went to leave without any...so I said "Can I get 2" just to anger him some more and she replied with "ok, you can buy his too" HAHA the look on his face was priceless!! Anyways I only bought 1, said thank you and left. I honestly thought the guy would be waiting for me in the parking lot but nope. Oh Buffalo you always seem to amaze me.
 
Buying DS Lites for yourself or as presents for this price makes perfect sense. Driving around the state buying them all up is just silly. You can buy them $100 BIN on eBay, and after fees you're not going to make anything.

I bought a silver PS3 controller for $40 at one store, the next store (which had the clearance price of $23.xx) I went to wouldn't give me back the difference. The 3rd and final store offered to give me the difference without any hassle at all.

According to the GS TIV thread, $25 as of a month ago. It's probably dropped since then, but with the $25 bonus trade in on hardware promo they have going right now, you're still looking at cutting this clearance price in half at the very least...worth the upgrade imo.
