DS Lite Availability

I live in a major metropolitian city, and the nearby KMart has some Pink DS Lites. The closest Best Buy had a few Onyx DS Lites the week before Christmas (when I got my DS Lite) but those are gone. Some areas have a supply of them...depends and YMMV.

Are you looking for a specific color?
 
There is too many threads obtain ps3,wii and ds lite.People should read some it rather then ask about it.Luckly for you circuit city has it in stock.

Circuit City has screwed me over the last three days. Some idiot human on their end makes it seem like it's available but when you check out, the cart clears and the site corrects itself right then and there.

Seriously...it happened a couple days ago and I was so excited and then again today

I called the service number and they just said it was an error with the system.

I got my onyx ds lite at meijer, they had a surprise shipment. That seems to be the case everywhere, nintendo is just kind of sending them out as fast as they can I guess.
 
Yeah, DS Lites and Wiis are both still sent directly from Nintendo to stores, and they usually dont touch the store's warehouse. This is the case for atleast Best Buy. They come in via UPS or Fedex randomly, and the stores dont know they are coming.
 
Have any Best Buy's started getting them in yet?
Nothing shows at bestbuy.com.
Since they seem to be shipped direct to a store, How long would it take to show in the inventory?

My son has gift cards burning a hole in his wallet. :)

Remember those online trackers are normally behind by about 24-48 hours... so I wouldn't count on them entirely

I went to a couple of Target stores today and while one only had a few DSL, the other has a ton of them. Wish I could say the same for the Wii.

You know, I know it's a pretty obvious question but I bought it from the site in the middle of a merchant-authorized hold that ended today. I'm checking my bank account and there's nothing about the transaction made other than my current balance and ledger balance being different...

Man, Best Buy must have pissed off Nintendo.
Stopped today and not a one in stock still.
Been to 4 stores in 3 days. Only one store had a pink, and that was a return.

Target had 8 Onyx next door to the BB.
If only we got cash instead of giftcards. :(
 
3rd Best Buy of the Day finally had all three colors.
Son got his Onyx.

I'm waiting on mine.
If I cannot get a Blue Phat used in decent condition, I'll buy a lite.
 
I appreciate everyone's help to attempt to find a Lite, especially Caliburn who would have gone out to get one. Thankfully, I got a pink Lite from someone on Craigslist this morning for $140. In other words, I paid about 3 bucks less than I would with tax included. :p
