Since the DSL will have the same shiny, smudge hungry surface as the PSP... there's good chance it'll be easy to scratch-- probably much easier than the PSP which only has the shiny plastic on the face while the DS has that coating all over.

But how come no company has yet to show us any cases like the ones the PSP has? I'm afraid of messing my Lite since I like all of my systems that I buy new to stay looking new.

Yeah, I want to see a nice little pouch like the one that came with the PSP. If I remember correctly, Cheap got a free DS Lite case or something from E3. I wonder which one that is?
I believe there was a picture of it on his flickr page and it was one of the new Hori cases.

Those are the available cases.

Nice, I'll have to pick one of these up. Hm, Im trying to debate buying a Hori screen protector. I know everyone in my house is going to be all over it (and I'm a pretty sharing person, to a fault).

They sound kind of sketchy to put on the lower screen. I read the reviews. What have your experiences been?

I use my PSP carry case:

The DS fits in there perfectly with or without the GBA cart and it keeps it nice and clean.

They don't affect the touch screen performance at all nor leave any sort of residue, and it makes me feel at ease when doing heavy stylus-ing (particularly doing spinnies in Ouendan).

I asked him about it in another thread and he directed me to several listings on eBay.

Carrying a DS in a PSP case qualifies as either blasphemy or tragic irony...I'm not sure which.

I really want Ouendan... do you have to know a lot of Japanese to play that game?

As for the cases, I was hoping for a solid case but it looks like no dice so far.

As I understand from our fellow CAGs, little to no Japanese is required. At least to play. I'll let you know when I get a chance to try it out.
In totally unrelated news, my care package from the land of the rising sun arrived today.

Pink is so fucking gangsta.
Excluding Ouendan, how much did all that cost? I'm liking that pouch and stylus, especially.

 • Compact Pouch DS Lite (light pink) US$ 10.90
 • Liquid Crystal Filter DS Lite US$ 6.99
 • Comfortable Touch Pen DS US$ 5.99
