Looking to get a screen protector - Searched and found a little bit of information, but not enough to answer my ultimate question of which one?

These are the ones I've found:

Boxwave 1
Boxwave 2

Those 2 are by the same company, just two different versions.

Invisible Shiled

The full body shield sounds interesting, any idea on that? Or the regular ones?

Hori

Good 'ol Hori - Still the "best" for the lite series?

Clarivue

Not sure about these, actually found it on a banner ad of all places LoL

So which one is considered the "best" for the DS Lite?

Thank you

I have the Hori ones for the DS Lite, they are of the same quality as the previous ones for the DS, which is good. They have a very glass like appearance and is crystal clear as the name would suggest. Everytime i open my DS Lite, I cannot help but admire the shiny screens before i turn it on. Everyone that has played with my DS Lite are suprised when i tell them that i have a screen protector on. They leave some residue when taken off but it can be easily polished away with a slightly moist cloth.

In terms of looks, i cannot imagine any of the others looking any better. I havent see any scratches or marks on mine yet after 3-4 weeks of use, and I've been playing a lot of Advance wars DS with the stylus.

You can find these Hori DS Lite protectors cheaply at Decalgirl.com

The Invisible shield may be best for durability, but from what I've read, not everyone likes the texture and feel of their material. I heard it was slightly sticky feeling. I am not sure if this applies to their screen protectors as well.

I had first purchased the Mad Catz ones since they seemed to be like the hori ones I had before with no adhesive. In short, stay far, far away from those. After using them for a week with some light Brain Age and Brain Training use, there were several scratches on the protector. I went out and bought the Pelican one since it was recommended in this thread:

It's worked well so far and they were very easy to put on. They're $5 at Circuit City or $5.99 at Best Buy.

I'll just second the Mad Catz anti-recommendation. I bought the extra stylus pack with the thumb stylus and "bonus" screen protectors. Seemed like a good package, and the thumb stylus really is great. But the screen protectors scratched up quite a bit in a very short amount of time. Well, short, considering I was addicted to the "sort the bob-ombs" minigame in New SMB at the time. :)

I'm happy to hear that not all screen protectors do this, so I'll be checking out Pelican or Hori soon.

I got the pelicans, easy to put on but scratched up after less than a week. I don't see why this is a problem though.

Wow, i just realized that my Rhino has the Hori Screen protectors for $6.99. They even have the one's for the fat DS clearanced out for $1.50. hmmmmm Are the screens the exact same size? Can I use the one for the phat (yeah, that's better) DS on the lite?

You will have a slight bit of overhang. I don't mind this and actually made it work on my DS lite. Spending $1.50 is much better than $6.99 on something like this.

If you have a local Fry's near you, they may carry the US Hori Screen Protectors for $6.99. I picked up one for a friend last week.

i bought Hori's like 2 weeks ago, easy as fuck to put on, omg, they're just amazing, don't notice them at all, even when the system is off! it's crazy. and I got used to the friction in only a few days, HIGHLY recommended!!!
