I played some street fighter II turbo revival today on my lite. I find the original to better for it than the lite. I could pull off moves but it seems a little too mushy. I know the original DS has a hard d-pad but it just seems to respond better.

Once I pick up my lite tommorow I'll post impressions about Street Fighter Alpha 3... hopefully it will play decent.

I`ve been playing Bleach DS and Jump Superstars a great deal over the past week and haven`t been having much difficulty pulling off moves. Granted, I never played these games with the original DS so I have no basis for comparison - but I attribute my inability to pulling off moves because of my lack of skill rather than the D-Pad itself.

also the fact that Jump Superstars isn't too d-pad heavy... it's manly just a direction+button... not QCF or anything like that. I hope the Lite pad won't ruing KoF DS when it's released.

KoF DS? Where was I when they announced that?

I just played some Street FIghter Alpha 3 and can say I actually think it's more responsive on the Lite. The moves were pretty esy to pull off, but I think it'll be easyer for people with small thumbs... mine are a bit big, but I'm sure the japanese have perfect thumbs for this as well as kids.

After playing Alpha 3 for a while I found that some moves were actually harder to pull off on the DS Lite than they were on the Phat DS. The GBA Micro is the best one for fighters in my opinion.

standard supers and special moves weren't a problem for me, but I'm sure the pad isn't great for 360 type of moves.
