I just got mine a week ago or so. And holy crap was it cheap.

Living right across the street from NOA sure is sweet.
I got access to the Nintendo store through some staff at our videogame design school..

Well, the breakdown, theyve got full stock at all times, and i got the ds for $130, with mario DS for an additional $18 new. Thats less than $150.. Its ridiculous.

Everything they sell over there is at least 25%-50% + discounted.
However of course, reselling systems/games from there is strictly prohibited.

I wouldnt have minded hooking up some people who couldnt find it, but im not in the mood for getting myself in serious trouble if someone finds out.

Hey Eclipse! I think I get the same prices as you do also. My God Mother works for the Mariners so she gets a list with discounted nintendo video game stuff every year. She just sent me the list and It has the same prices as you said. Did you get the deal in the form of a multi-paged list or did they just offer it to you?

My uncle and cousins live up in Seattle, so they're relatively close to Redmond. Do they give discounts to anyone?

Hmm.. good question. I think that you have to know someone that works for nintendo, or the mariners, or another nintendo related company to get a discount, but I may be wrong. I can ask my god mother.
 
If you are an employee, you can buy for someone but you can't sell it for profit. You will lose your job.
The price for 1st party GameCube games is $31.00 which is great!
 
Little known fact: Nintendo gave all game store managers a free DS.

The catch? They can't pick them up right away, most have to wait until after Christmas.

Well, theres people out there who track down any type of illegal resales. All NOA sold products come with a sticker slapped onto the packaged products (unremovable) which clearly states that resale of such a product for profit is highly illegal..

To get discounts, you need to work at NOA, or be affiliated to Digipen, which is part of Nintendo. There are some other companies as well which get such discounted prices.

I just got lucky, seeing that im in Digipen. =0
