I wanted to say something the first time you replied to this thread, but now you have done it again. Stop acting like your time is so valuable, no one is forcing you to reply to this thread. There are probably lots of threads more worthy of your whining than this one. I know I'm a newbie here but show people some respect and stop putting them down just because they don't do what you, the almighty gaming genius, have suggested.
Now now, no arguing.
All he was pointing out was that the OP has for the most part been shoving our suggestions back in our faces, which is true. If he already knew he wasn't going to buy it then why bother with the thread?
I think my first post failed to really aswer the topic post. You want unique (I'm guessing you mean, something you can't find anywhere else but on the DS) experiences to justify the massive $130 plunge (compared to the PSP's $250), well here you go:
-Animal Crossing: Wild World
-Elite Beat Agents/Ouendan
-Contact (Good choice, there, OP)
-Phoenix Wright (seriously, I don't give a

if you read Boxcar Children or Goosebumps or whatever, these are good, well-written, and FUN games)
-Hotel Dusk (see above)
-Metroid Prime Hunters (who knew a portable shooter could work so well)
-Trauma Center
-Electroplankton
-Advance Wars: Dual Strike (yea, I know it hasn't changed much since the GBA, but it's still Advance Wars....which means addictive gameplay and many hours wasted, with the genius addition of stylus control)
-Jump Ultimate Stars (best portable fighter there is)
-Pokemon (again, not much changed since GBA, but shit man, it's got wifi)
Plus there are some franchises which are guaranteed to be brought to the DS at some point, some of which I'm thinking will be F-Zero, Mario Golf and Tennis, perhaps Super Smash Bros.? In any case, the point is that if you look past Zelda and Final Fantasy there are plenty of good games that you can't find anywhere else. Plus you have the vast GBA library to continue using or to rediscover. Come 2010 (the year I think a new Nintendo portable will finally come out) the DS will be one of the greatest game systems in existence, if not the greatest. And you'd be supporting the only console company that put innovation and fun before graphical power this generation.
