DS top screen replacement

My son smashed the top screen of his DS (not lite).

I'm looking for sources to purchase a new top screen replacement.
I thought this forum would be a great place to ask.

I am also in the same situation since one of my friends gave me a ds fat but her sister broke the top screen by slamming the door on it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Play Final Fantasy III, lol. It makes almost no use of the top screen.

I'm not aware of any way to replace the screen... I'd say it's time for a Lite.

for ~30 bucks for a broken one on ebay you can get the parts.
I found this picture set of a gutted original DS that might help with it.

That's just a replacement screen protector, not the screen.

I'd agree that it's time for a lite.

Well I found a few replacement screen choices....

i've ordered a screen and will let you know how it works out.
