both of sixaxis controllers are having the issue with the left analog sticks, so I need a good deal on the dualshock 3.

Same issue with the DS3.
We bought ours at BBuy (they pm'd Amazon $44.xx) and added the $9.99 warranty.
One bought in December had left analog issues and returned/switched for a new one last weekend.
I asked if we needed to pay another $9.99 warranty fee on the replacement..."no you have 2 years from the December date". Please note this is the THIRD left analog stick DS3 to go on the fritz...Buy the warranty, it's worth every penny...

Oh and one of our 60 gigs is a launch unit bought at BBuy, the original DS controller had the same issue and was replaced on the spot because we also paid $59.99 for the warranty on the PS3. (now we prefer the DS3 controllers)
 
I have not had any problems with my SIXAXIS analogs (what is the problem?). I also bought some white dualshock 3s here on CAG and those have been perfect.

the left analog sticks on the sixaxis get stuck in different positions or the sping instad the stick gets messed up and it veers even when the stick in in 'neutral' position...I have heard that the dualshocks were better. I never had any issues with my ps2 dualshocks and I have had those for like 8 years now...
