What an idiot. I saw this on their broadcast today. I was surprised at 6 days in jail. Usually contempt gets you a day or two.
 
Dumb fuck should have told the judge he wanted a lawyer right when he saw the picture. Lawyer could have said his client was wiping off some hot sauce left over from lunch or something like that.

Kind of hard to fight a contempt charge. You have to do something that disrupts the court which means you're in front of a judge when you do it. They jail the bailiff that you are to be remanded into custody and held in contempt of court. You have no option of a trial, lawyer, or any of that stuff.
