This is probably dumb but I was wondering if putting a screen protector on will lower that touch screens abilty to sense the touch well. Make it less sensitive I guess? When I do use it right now w/o a screen protector I always do it real lighlty and I'm just curious.

It becomes slightly less sensitive, so you need to apply a certain amount of pressure. I've had very few problems with it myself.

which screen protector do you use, hori?

I use hori and it works every time. I don't know if It requires more force than without a screen protector, but horis don't require much, so no complaints.

Yes, I used a DS (non-Lite) hori. The difference is barely noticable unless you touch the screen VERY lightly

It does slightly, w/ slightly more friction also, but definitely nothing to cry home about. It's not going to hamper your gaming ability unless you are weak like Mr. Burns.

i put on the Japanese Hori DS Lite protector. I see some bubbles, couldnt push it out. I tried to remove the protector with a tape, but couldnt its sealed tight! theres a couple of dust that i want to remove but couldnt remove the protector.

Mailing tape (the kind you use to tape up packages for *gasp* mailing!) works very well. Kicked that ass of scotch tape and masking tape when I had to lift my screen protector back up

Scotch tape works fine. You have to tape the entire edge of the protector (use your fingernail to really get it on the corner) and then peel it backwards, not up, and it should come off just fine. I had to readjust my touch screen protector and get all the bits of dirt that I thought I wiped off the first time!

I wasn't able to use scotch tape to peel it up myself. Though I didn't try very hard as I had a roll of packing tape sitting a few feet away. I tried using the scotch tape as pictured in the protectors instructions and that didn't seem to do much of anything.

I haven't noticed any difference in touch screen sensitivity with the Hori protectors. My gf didn't even know a protector had been applied.
