I apologize if someone mentioned this already, but looking at my local paper it shows that Target has the old version of American Psycho for $10. Could this possibly be an error?

It is most likely an error. People have reported their Targets only having the new one, and it scanning at the sale price.

Well, I was able to pricematch it at Best Buy, so it's all good. :)
 
I'm willing to bet that the folks who do the ads for Target didn't have the graphic file for the new version on hand so they just used the old cover in its place. No big deal just as long as you can still get the new version at that low price then its all good. :D

I haven't opened my 3rd Rock yet, but I think it is on the 4th disc. If yours had the bonus content sticker, I wouldn't worry too much (but I'd suggest popping in disc 4 to check, just the same).

Thanks for the reminder on R&S, I'd kick myself if the week ended without me picking up season 3 from Target (I don't have the first set, yet, though). I did just notice something slightly odd re: R&S S1&2... While DDD sells the DVD set for $27.19, they have the UMD listed as a preorder for $16.97. The UMD description claims that it contains every episode from both seasons, but it is a straight cut and paste of the DVD description, so take that with a grain of salt, especially coupled with the fact that most (but not all) sites (including IGN) list the UMD as "Volume 1 1/2ish" rather than "1st & 2nd Seasons". I tried searching for more information on Paramount's site, but they only have search options for VHS and DVD, no UMD yet.
 
Got the Shaun of the Dead/Dawn of the Dead 2-pack for $18. Two movies I wanted to get eventually, so this was good. BTW, all the 2-packs were $18 at Target. They had a Resident Evil one...some others...
