I saw Team America in the theater and I dont think thats a kind of movie I would want to watch over and over again. Some parts were funny; Other parts were annoying. If you really want to see it, I recommend renting it over buying it.
 
I'm definitely buying Team America. Hopefully there'll be better deals at BB or CC for it. Thanks again Dropout.
 
I agree with the great price for Scrubs. I wonder what the exclusive Crank Yankers DVD is.

As for Team America, i think its definitely worth a purchase, although i am not sure i am going to get the unrated version. The puppet sex scene was rather long as it was, and i dont see the purpose of the new extra raunchy scenes.

Yeah, I got the discount too, but went with scrubs from FYE for 31.99 - 10% discount (with a coupon code from dvdtalk) and a 7$dollar rebate. Mostly I had some credit to burn.

Next week is brutal... seinfeld, scrubs, and pete and pete? One will have to remain on the shelf... but which will it be?

BTW... I'm banking on a 40 dollar Seinfeld price, as it was with the last two sets.

Since Seinfeld re-runs come on at least 5 times a day (they do here, no joke... I'm actually a bit sick of the show) I'd go with the two that aren't replayed into the ground.
 
What's the deal with Scrubs? What's it about? What's so great about it? All i know is that the corny guy from Clueless is in it. I just can't see something being that great if he's the main star (if he is). But with all of the buzz mixed with my addiction to tv-dvd, I'm going to give it a go. Just somebody PLEASE give me a heads-up on what the hell I'm purchasing.

If the Scrubs bonus DVD is anything like the Seinfeld bonus from last year, Ill be disappointed. I found that I really couldnt care how Newman got his part. But anyway, Ive got a gift card, so as long as BB prices it at 29.99 too, ill be there.

TSD... Scrubs is pretty good (amazing when Heather Graham was on for awhile). It has a different way of writing and creating humor than the usual sitcoms. In a way, I think Arrested Development took a couple of cues from them, particularly with the flashbacks.
 
Kinsey is a really good movie. I certainly will be purchasing it. There's so much that this movie has to say and it makes many things apparent regarding sexuality of today, even though the movie takes place during the 20s/30s.
 
I hadn't known this but dvdtalk.com copies TSD's ads over there. At least they give him credit for them. Oh yaeh, bump up for this thread.

If CC happens to be selling Team America for 14.99, I'll go there and grab South Park while I'm at it. If it's any higher, I'll pass on South Park and just get Team America at Walmart or something.

As CC.com is showing $14.99 on "Team America" right now that is what most likely it will be going for in store on Tuesday.

I've been counting down the days until Scrubs comes out... I'll be at BB @ 10AM to make sure I get that bonus disc.
I think Scrubs took some of its offbeat cues from the Drew Carey show. But thats a bit of a stretch. Its just great stuff.
 
Those bonus discs at best buy are usually pretty plentiful. So i will be there on Tuesday for the set, but not until after work.

Anyone know if Pete and Pete is available at BB, and at what price? Its not on their site, so I wouldnt be surprised if BB isnt carrying it.
