Man, I hope some other places have Unleashed for cheaper than $20. But they got a pretty decent price on South Park S6 though so I guess I can forgive target.

Going to wait for the BB, CC, Frys ads until I decide where I will be buying Unleashed, and South Park. I am also debating on getting Kingdom Of Heaven and Arrested in Dev. S2 also. Thanks TSD.

Cool. Hope you get Best Buy and Circuit City up soon. Although there are a few dvds I want to gte next week, I doubt I'll be geting any. Its my friends 21st birthday next week. Need the money for that.

But hopefully my check is more than I expect it to be.

yeah, it's a big week for me too...i already have AD2, Veronica Mars & South Park s6 pre-ordered at wherehouse.com and I plan on buyin High Tension, Unleashed & Kicking Screaming...I might buy Fresh Prince s2 so I can have another dvd for the rebate deal going on...I've never heard of Kingdom of Heaven though, is it any good?

A) McLintock! and Hondo on CC's $9.99 do not (REPEAT DO NOT) come out until Tuesday. TSD, can you PLEASE note that in the listing.

B) I would highly recommend holding off on buying "Kingdom Of Heaven" as rumors are going around over a 4 disc extended edition coming out within six months.
 
Great price at BB for AD Season 2. Everyone should pickup Arrested Development Season 2. We need strong DVD sales to ensure future seasons.

Thanks as usual for the ads. I'll be picking up Arrested Development on Tuesday. Nice to see so many others here doing the same. I agree with Kaijufan: buy the set and support this great show! Last I looked, the AD S2 set was ranked #9 in DVD sales on Amazon, so that's a good sign.
 
About 99% of the time, the price of the DVD next to the ???? in the ad, is the correct price. That info would be useful.

Sort of off topic, but I love picking up $10 or less movies. Every week it seems like Circuit City or Target has some really cheap DVD's, for $9.99 or even $7.49.

I'm curious because it always seems like the cheap DVD's are resealed. I'm not complaining, just curious on why when a DVD drops below $10 the stores seem to open them up and reseal them. The only thing I can think of is they take out the insert to return to the movie studios for credit, since the cheapy DVD's also almost never have an insert.

Once again, I'm not complaining, just curious. My most recent cheapie purchase was The Rundown from Circuit City for $7.49, and they were all obviously resealed (saran-wrap style shrinkwrap, left on the machine for too long so the plastic sleeve of the DVD wrinkles) and inside the case there wasn't an insert.

On topic, I'll probably pick up Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Well I can tell you this much is that they are NOT (repeat NOT) being opened at store level at all. The titles show up just like anything else and get put out just like anything else. I do agree that some of the copies do come feeling reshrunk, but I don't have a clue as to what is going on with that....

A lot of DVDs just don't have inserts, at all. I'd say around 1/3 of them, actually. You can buy them brand new, on release day, and they still won't have one. This started happening about two years ago.

Haha, you rule. South Park for me. Though this week is my birthday, so I'll probably hold out on buying anything this week (in case someone else buys it for me :D)

And I hear the Elizabethtown preview disc comes with a $5 off coupon for a bunch of movies, including Vanilla Sky. So really, you could get Vanilla Sky at Best Buy for a mere $1.99. I've never seen it, but for 2 bucks, its worth the blind buy.
 
Does anyone know which version of the Transporter is 9.99? The Ad shows the new special edition, but I was at CC today and they had a higher price on it, but they probably didn't change the signs. I didn't realize it was on sale until I read this thread.
