READ ME: Pre-sale new release code sales are kept in a spreadsheet in the order payment is received. They are distributed like this: blu-ray first, then mixed bu/dvd that weren't sorted by supplier and finally codes from dvd. I often don't know until day of release how many will be blu vs mixed vs dvd, but obviously the higher you are on the pre-paid list, the more likely you are to get a blu-ray code (if that sort of thing matters to you). Pre-sale through release day is the only time both codes will be the same price. After that, codes from blu-ray will be priced higher due to supply and demand.
READ ME TOO: I never guarantee HD or HDX because that's controlled by the issuing studio and also can vary by retailer (vudu vs flixster vs itunes etc). However, if I know where a code came from, it will be marked as such (blu = blu-ray and dvd = dvd). Codes marked as mixed means my source sent it unsorted and code could be from either format dvd or blu-ray and I don't know which one.
