This whole partial thing is very stupid. Not only does it create unnecessary problems like this, but it's just a way for sellers to make more money, which is ridiculous considering what they're charging already ($6,$7,$8 for a code? are you fucking high?). Codes should be one and done.

I agree. It's his loss though. I was going to buy even more codes from him. If he wants to lose my business over $6-8 then so be it. Oh well.

Usually means the code is at/beyond the redeemable expiration date. Still a possibility to redeem and download.

Most scenarios, seller sends code, then buyer would report back if they have successfully redeemed the code and pays afterwards.

Worst case scenario is the other way around and both parties incurr fees (ie Paypal).

Establishing positive feedback here beforehand is the preferred way (some sellers have requirements).

It's my thought process at how that is how it's handled around here. So hopefully the sellers can chime in on that topic.

I agree with this. If enough of us feel this way, then perhaps we can have it made a rule for the thread. Although I'm not really sure how many people read those rules. I still get people asking me to send payment as a gift.

he was banned on bluray.com as a result of getting to many negatives because he does that.

One of the codes was already used, and when i showed him proof of that and asked for a refund of that code, he left the conversation. So, i'm going to assume he has no intention of refunding me. So again, just a heads up for everyone. If you trade with him, make sure to let him go first, because if it turns out someone he sold a partial code to before used the whole thing, he will likely NOT refund you.

Odd, I bought 5 movies from him and 2 had been used and he refunded one because he didn't have another (within 5 minutes of me messaging him) and the other he replaced the code no problems at all. Out of all the sellers I have dealt with, he's been the fastest and nicest. Sorry you had problems with your purchase, but I think it's very atypical for his purchases.

I thought that was when a code can redeem on vudu and itunes and they sell the code twice... and when the first person redeems they are "supposed" to only redeem one as in "honor system". But I've only been buying digital copies for a couple weeks and that was my assumption with that.

If this splitting up the same code nonsense wasn't allowed, you both would be without negatives. There is nothing positive that can happen other than the greedy sellers making more money.

Ok, so I have dealt with most of you on one level or another. I have also dealt with blurayforeveryone and I will be the first to say that he has never done me wrong and is very approachable. We all have a life outside of the digital world so give the guy a break. It may have been that he was doing other things. From what I read by the OP that started all of this it has been resolved. As far as people splitting iTunes codes from UV codes, I personally don't do it because I have read a lot of stories about people getting the codes then redeeming both portions anyway. I have been accused of doing that myself once from a seller. If you don't like it, don't deal with those sellers. They will get the picture eventually if less and less people work with them.
