DVD/Blu Digital / Ultraviolet Code Trade - READ THE OP! ONE POST EVERY THREE DAYS!

So, someone help me out here... is a "partial" just referring to a code that is redeemable in both UV and iTunes, that a seller is 'splitting' and selling as individual codes exclusively? Thus, effectively selling the same code twice?

And the risk is that if the seller sells the UV code to Buyer A and the iTunes code to Buyer B that one of them could potentially attempt to use that code in the other ecosystem, and screw the other buyer out of the code?

That's basically what I've gathered that it is. Seems too risky to me, but I guess some people get away with it.

I agree with you 100% with the splitting of the codes. Here are the rules from another site which I believe should be instated here as well

I think you misunderstood what I was saying, I was not trying to slander blurayforeveryone, I have used him in the past and have had good results. Personally, I do not agree with selling off multiple portions of HBO codes or any codes that cannot be verified, if a user wishes to do so they should do it on the honor system meaning provide the code first and if it is redeemable then request payment.

 
Not all but most sellers on the sites I use sell partial codes and it does not bother me much because most handle it well and blueraysforeveryone is by far the best seller I deal with. He has handled this same situation for me a few times when it came up. I have gotten around ten preorders from him and who knows how many codes and in the end he has always cone through. There is no one I would rather buy from or trust more.

Don't purchase from randallg197. Not only will he be an inconsiderate prick, he won't acknowledge your request to buy something. He never once told me his paypal, and he failed to tell me how much one of his items cost.

When he did reply, he stated that he sold one of the two items available, and that the prices were marked.

Obviously I wanted to spend a good $15 or so, which is why I asked in the first place... but by the time I asked how much the item was... now... he stated it was sold. Never once told me his paypal or how much to send him.

Slap in the face for us sellers/buyers out there.

I guess it would be wise now to ask every seller (when you are wanting to buy something): "I am interested in this, what's the price and paypal please?"

or

"I am interested in this item. It does not have a price on it. I really want to buy it, please don't sell it to another buyer just yet. Please send me your paypal and the total price"

I guess from now on anytime someone asks me to buy something I should give them the cold shoulder like randallg197. I feel very appreciated as a buyer right now, thanks mate!... not...

His idea for selling something, first person to pay gets the item. Not the first person to ask. And if you ask, and don't specify 100% that you are interested fully in the item, he still will sell it to the first person that gives him money. Really helps when you don't know the paypal to send to. Thanks...

In the end, I got this as a final comment...

Again you never didn't reply back for several mins. You had time to purchase but didn't stop harassing me and stop acting like a kid.

I only pointed out numerous times that I had no idea where to send the money to, or how much to give you. And by the time you finally realized that you never told me the price & email, you sold my codes that I was interested in.

You just don't do that to a buyer dude
