Does seriously no one have a copy of Missing Link hat they want a reasonable amount (like $5) for? I'm not paying $9 for something I can get on blu ray for 20
55% off? What a rip off! I'll pay full price instead.Should be the new title of the thread.
Yes, that's precisely what I said. A lone digital code is exactly the same as buying a full Blu-ray + DVD + Digital copy package at retail, so let's all just charge the full price for the codes! That way, we can all get our movies completely free!55% off? What a rip off! I'll pay full price instead.
DO NOT purchase from this user. They have scammed me and another user and never responded to any of my messages. BUYER BEWARE.
He's slow replying to his messages, however his posts are misleading and lack information. When I bought from him last week, he failed to disclose that some of his codes are InstaWatch, and then on top of that he didn't list the video quality of the stuff he's selling, until I pointed it out to him just the other day. He had a mix of SD and HD codes listed under the heading HDX, without indicating what was what. His more recent post shows the video quality, but that's only after I made a stink about it. He still doesn't indicate which codes are InstaWatch in his listing, and I just noticed he went back and deleted his previous listings, so all you see are posts from Nov 2018, a large gap, and then a post from July 23, 2019.DO NOT purchase from this user. When I called him out on selling me a code clearly listed under the HDX heading being an SD quality InstaWatch code, he told me he doesn't do refunds. Wtf is that? He screwed up with his listing, and I have to pay for it. Then he tells me I can have another code for free, and 20% off my next purchase with him. I took the free code so the transaction wasn't a total loss for me, but I won't ever be buying from him again. I have a one strike policy when it comes to buying from online sellers. Burn me once, and you lose me as a buyer forever, and I buy a lot of codes too. Over 700 codes over the past five months.
The code he sold me was the Superman 5-movie collection for $8. As mentioned before, it was an SD quality InstaWatch code, which he failed to disclose in his listing and while we were messaging back and forth. It's gonna be pretty sweet watching the pixels on my 65" OLED.&
I also recommend avoid buying from tenchi7.
I understand quality issues, but can someone explain why Instawatch is a concern? Isn't that the same thing as a Vudu/UV code?...he failed to disclose that some of his codes are InstaWatch...He still doesn't indicate which codes are InstaWatch in his listing...
It ultimately gives you the same movie but the seller can return the disc for a refund and your instawatch copy would disappear with it.I understand quality issues, but can someone explain why Instawatch is a concern? Isn't that the same thing as a Vudu/UV code?
If he decides to return his purchase to Walmart, then the license is removed from my Vudu library. Some people on other forums, FB groups, and Reddit have mentioned that Vudu can yank the license whenever, since it's complimentary. There was some chick on MeWe that was contacting Walmart support, and narcing on other IW sellers. On MeWe, most people use their real names, so I guess Walmart can cancel codes based on who purchased them??? She was a shady b!tch though. I bought once from her, had a bad experience, and then never again.I understand quality issues, but can someone explain why Instawatch is a concern? Isn't that the same thing as a Vudu/UV code?

Thanks for the info. I had no idea this is how Instawatch worked, although I wondered what prevented people from buying an instawatch item and returning it later. I assumed Walmart would deduct the digital cost of the movie from the refund, but I guess not.If he decides to return his purchase to Walmart, then the license is removed from my Vudu library. You waited SEVEN MONTHS??He may be slow at responding, but this was a transaction from December 2018.
He has messaged me today, and offered the codes or a refund, along with an explanation.
What do you mean I waited 8 months? What was I supposed to do? I posted about it and told the mods. Today, he issued a refund. You waited SEVEN MONTHS??
And not to be that guy but so many of his items are clearly instawatch that I just don’t know how you’re surprised.
Youre buying virtual content from an unknown person so ask questions. There’s plenty of people on here who go first come even if you have a question, hell, a number of people will bargain with you if you try. I also check to see what’s new on disc to digital every day.
I have bought from him in the past without any issues. Too bad you haven’t gotten what you paid for.
I think I've used him before also... Hell, I think I've used everyone at this point but he's on my ignore list because he doesn't reply to PM and I don't have time for that impolite bullshit.I've been fine working with tenchi7 as well and got a few codes in the past. Sounds like some frustrating shenanigans recently, though. I wouldn't write the seller off completely but it does sound like some customer service and misinformation issues.
One of my pet peeves as well.... I always reply to PMs even if its just to say sorry item has been sold.I think I've used him before also... Hell, I think I've used everyone at this point but he's on my ignore list because he doesn't reply to PM and I don't have time for that impolite bullshit.
Oh ok, thanks. Reason I ask is because everyone I see has it 4k and no hd.No, the bluray came with an HDX code.
