DVD ripping to Ipod?

I know theres a porn one but I'm wondering how to rip actual dvds into the Ipod, any suggestions? Potential free ones?

Yea I hope that something is made because about all there is to buy from iTunes is music videos and shows that I am not into....And I don't want to pay for something I can Tivo or watch on MTV......
 
Convert it to mp4 maybe? It's a supported feature of Quicktime so I would imagine that it would support Apple's Ipod.
 
Thanks for the suggestions, going to try the Videora way, my brother bought a $35 DVD to Ipod converter program online, seems to be doing the trick, might compare and steal the second one in case.
