Thanks for the great info, Successful Dropout. I'll be picking up Saw and Donnie Darko.

I picked up the Zombie 2-pack at K-Mart a couple of weeks ago and it's well worth it!

As always big UPs to Successful D!!!
I think I see some decent movies in that post!!

And what is on the SAW dvd...................cause that movie really let me down!!! But I might still get it if it has some cool extras!!

Thanks for the hard work, TSD. Two questions for ya:

1. Riddick/Pitch Black bundle at BB: is it the unrated version of Riddick?

2. Glory at CC: two-disc or single disc?

Thanks again for the ads.

JUST A NOTE....

DONNIE DARKO DC has been getting some mixed reviews. A lot of people are saying the theatrical cut was better. Check out reviews at DVDtalk.com
I thought there were only 2 seaons of Dark Angel made.
Heh, yeah, that's gotta be a goof. It was a painful second season at that. I believe it's really for Angel, Buffyboinker.
Is the Dawn of the Dead in the zombie 2-pack the Unrated version or the theatrical?

If its unrated, BOO YA'S!
It's the unrated version! :)

Yes, but this version has a commentary track with Kevin Smith. I can't go wrong with that for $15.99.

I've seen both. They are both great in there own right. I would recommend the Director's Cut if you want to understand the film a bit easier, but if you like the mystery then go with the original release.

It looks like I will be picking up SAW and Donnie Darko: DC as well as Tae Ga Guk: Brotherhood of War (best war movie ever).
Thanks for the info.

Can you tell what version of Dr. Strangelove is part of the 2 for 20 BB sale?
Most likely it will be the full screen special edition and not the recently released 40th Anniversary Widescreen one... but who knows. I won't complain as I own both and only paid $25 for the two. :D
MetalGator... Best. Sig. Ever.

If that picture were panoramic and you could see about 20 feet to the right, I would be in it.
I'll never forget that night, wish I had made the trip up

I'm assuming the 2 for $20 versions of the Holy Grail and Dr. Strangelove aren't the special editions, but maybe there will be an online mix-up similar to the one a few weeks ago. For some reason, all versions of 2 for $15 movies were qualifying for the deal, so you could get the Traffic Criterion DVD for 7.50.
You guys really need to get the Terminal/Catch Me If You Can 2-pack. Those are two seriously awesome movies.
Yes they are.

I'll be getting Saw with a pricematch at Best Buy. Now if only they'll honor my Dawn/Shaun rain check from KMart for $15...
