There's the deal. That's the price I paid for Arrested Development (also at Target), and remains the best price I've seen it for, and I might just pick up Wonderfalls.

I concur with AD. I think I'm going to go pick it up. As for Wonderfalls, I never saw it, but it's by the guy who did Dead Like Me, which I loved. For $23, I may just be willing to give it a shot.

Must have Cat Returns now. Saw it at Sam Goody already, even though it's not supposed to be out yet. But with a price of 30 bucks I'll wait til I can get it from these ads. Thanks OP!
Thanks, but still sitting out. Waiting patiently for the next DDD 20% off sale.
yeah, im waiting out too...though i will pick up the shield and king of queens this week....ive never heard of wonderfalls, but if its from the guys behind dead like me, it may be worth the pickup

Awesome price for Arrested Development. Good price for 24:S3 also. I got it for that price at Costco a month ago. Now if I could find 24:Season 2 for that price.

Awesome, thanks Trust. I am probably going to pick up South Park S5

Kenny Dies, Scott Tennerman must die, Cripple Fight, Towelie, and the butters episode are just too awesome

i knew while i was posting the ads that you'd be happy about south park

Might be one of the only tings for me this week plus the 10% off coupon for BB. Hmmm...you guys have now perked my attention to Wonderfalls. Dead Like Me was an awesome show........Thanks again Trust.

I'm new to this DVD sales tracking thing, but if The Shield Season 3 is coming out does that mean we will potentially see a big reduction in price of The Shield Season 2, or is that just wishful thinking??
I'm new to this DVD sales tracking thing, but if The Shield Season 3 is coming out does that mean we will potentially see a big reduction in price of The Shield Season 2, or is that just wishful thinking??
you might see a temporary promo....something like the south park one in the ads...."buy season 3, save $5 off of season 2"....but you're not going to see much better then that....i suggest you wait til the deepdiscountdvd.com sale that happens twice a year....every dvd on their site during the sell is 20% off AC....the next deal should be sometime near the 4th of July

ps: as soon as i finished watching season 1...i left the house, went straight to best buy, bought season 2 at full price and lived a happy life until i finished season 2 the following day....so, depending on the money that you have available, its up to you....but i would've paid more then full price if i had to....this is easily one of my favorite shows ever

Wow, all 5 seasons of South Park for $95 minus discounts at Best Buy. That's 19 bucks a season! I think it's about time I pick up the sets.

As always....Thanks Trust!!!
Wonderfalls was a very good show but it just came out at the wrong time and wrong network!!
I don't know if is worth buying but I might just pick it up.
Dead Like Me was awesome though, too bad I don't have Cable anymore!!

quick summary of what wonderfalls is about? or maybe, what show it most resembles? [-o
Great deal on 24 S3. Almost as cheap as DDD's 20% off price.
AD and Wonderfalls are less than DDD's 20% off price.

always appreciated

porco, nausicaa and cat returns are probably all 17.99 (as per website), so another 10% off that is a great deal, imo

Wonderfalls is a cutesy show (think Ed or Northern Exposure, but for a slightly younger demo) about a girl who starts to talk to inanimate objects, typically animals (i.e. the plastic monkeys in a Barrel of Monkeys, to give an example that's not from the show because I've never seen it). I'm not one to buy whole seasons of TV sight unseen, but if I rent a disc of it, that suddenly bumps the cost of the whole enterprise up into an unfavorable price range. I've spent less on DVD movies I'd never seen (like the Criterion version of Sisters), and I just got Incredibles for free (i.e. for copies of Without Limits, Drop Dead Gorgeous and Ginger Snaps), so I might splurge on this.

probably, but the $17.99 price tag is directly on top of "the cat returns," which is in the middle of the other two.....without the "each" anywhere to be found

if im not positive on the price of something...i wont post it....i'd really like to avoid the, "that bastard said shield season 3 was $34.99 at target, so i go to best buy and ask them to price match it at target....then they called target and they didn't have it in stock...so i went to target myself because i thought they were lying and when i got there, they did have it in stock, but it was $44.99....furiously, i then went to circuit city because it was closer then best buy and they had it for $40.99...where the hell is it $34.99? out of frustration, i left and decided to return to best buy on the way home and vwalah, it was $34.99 at best buy, not target...you owe me my time and gas money and im never trusting your ad posts ever again...."

thanks for the summary....though the show doesn't sound great, i may still pick it up after checking out the back of the box while picking up the shield s3 and koq s3....for that price and it being the entire series, it won't be that much of a waste of money even if i dont like it

by the way, is ginger snaps good? my friends gf asked him to buy the new one for her for valentines day and ive never heard it

the third season is probably the best, so that may factor into your decision if you are thinking about getting it.

Ginger Snaps is a low-budget Canadian version of Spider-Man for girls. Whereas Spider-Man had all kinds of guy puberty jokes (like Peter being publicly embarrassed and unsure what to do when he starts ejaculating sticky white stuff), Ginger Snaps does it for girls -- becoming a woman being akin to becoming a werewolf. (See also Carrie.) The first one is clever and well-acted with appropriate B-grade special effects, but it's nothing too special. I can't speak to the sequels.

sorry, too late, ive already abused your info, mixed it with my own poor sense to better waste the fleeting moments of my free time and now have little left for compensation save to savagely complain

-by website i just meant at bestbuy.com, all 3 titles can be purchased online for $17.99 (or pre-ordered, rather) thus increasing the chances of instore all 3 being that price- but not increasing said chances all the way to 100%

You'll be waiting for a while... as for me... will def pick up the Shield (fav show on tv), and S Park :)

Arrested Development for 23 sounds good. So does School of Rock for 7.49.
Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, Braveheart, and Ben-Hur are steals at 9.99. Sadly, I already own all of them, but for those of you who don't, jump on it.

reread the part that i just now underlined

For some reason I got my mom a copy of the Princess Bride, but I didn't get the movie myself, and then my little brother got me a Chinese rip of Forrest Gump so, hmm... well I think I may have to get the Princess Bride and Forrest Gump from Target this week, with my discount they'll be a shade under $7 each with tax. Cheaper than the DDD prices stunningly even if it were during the 20% off sale.

19.99 will probably be the normal in store price for The Cat Returns (and the other Ghibi films out that day) however, see if there's a coupon for 2 dollars off inside that first one you buy and then apply it to the second, and then the coupon from the second onto the third (the last wave of Ghilbi titles had the coupons in them). Don't know if they'll have them this time, but it doesn't hurt to look!

The deal this time around is if you buy all 3, you send in the UPC from each one, and you get a free copy of your choice of Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, and Kiki's Delivery Service.

BB's Get Shorty price after tax is a few cents cheaper than DDD 20% off, plus with BB you get the free Be Cool ticket

awesome. Season 3 of 24 is mine.

As for S1 of Arrested Development, is it a full 22-episode season, or is it a mideasons replacement thing with less then 10.

The first season of Arrested Development has 22 episodes.

I would pay $50.00 for each season of the Shield and wouldn't hesitate a second. This is one of, if not THE best show on television right now. There are some very intense moments in each season, but they are done so well. Buy Season 1-2 this weekend so you can be ready for Season 3 on Tuesday. Season 4 premieres March 15th on FX at 10PM est.

thanks dropout for the early prices. I will prob pick up South park s5 from BB and Heat SE at target.

So is this $95 5-set South Park deal any good? I mean, I love the show and want to buy them eventually, but ... I don't know, is it worth shelling out 95 bucks? There aren't any other better deals for it, right?

That's an EXCELLENT deal. Trust me. I remember when season 4 came out, Best Buy was selling all 4 seasons for $100 bucks, and that was a good deal. Now, it's FIVE seasons for FIVE dollars less. I'm so excited, because I've been wanting to get these for a while. I missed out on a lot of season 3-5 episodes.

I used to have the first seven season on my PC .. but they all had to go. Way to much HD space. Anyway, I think I will go in for this deal. It is pretty fawking sweet. Maybe they'll have something better for season 6?
EVERYONE should get Arrested Development. I think it's the best AND funniest show on TV right now.
what is this show about? I only saw like half of one episode.
