I just wanted to share with people since the expansion for Dying Light "The Following" is coming on Feb 9, The season pass got bumped up from $19.99 to $29.99. But GS still has them for $19.99. Now with the season pass you will get upgraded to the Enhanced Edition of the game with the new expansions.

I remember when I bought "Dying Light season pass" from GS for $20 and it was the full game instead. Then a couple days later Sony sent us the season pass also. Good times.

Anyways, the expansion is going to be bigger than Dying Light itself so should definitely get it before GS raises it.

Excellent post OP. I, too, got in on the game and season pass for $19.99 from GameStop. Nonetheless, gonna buy this for my brother to support the developer!

i never liked horror games and this game scared the sh*t out of me but i tremendously enjoyed buying $80 worth of content with only $20 as a true CAGer

so this is the just the season pass, not the full game as well

Same price as amazon. Was going to buy it using psn credit along with the the 20% off, but wasn't aware the price was going to go up.
 
The GS glitch where you got the whole game instead of just the SP, was that only for :ps4: or also for :xb1:?  I want to know how bad I need to kick myself for missing out on that.

It was only for the PS4 which was why I didn't even bother taking advantage of it since I knew I eventually wanted it on the X1

 
this week the original game for ps4 and xb1 is also 19.99 at gamestop. so the game with all the dlc for $40 

 
Hmm...tempting. I loved this game, one of the best campaigns I've played in years. The only downside is lacking people to play with. I'll mull over getting it for a bit. I beat the campaign maybe a month after getting it at launch and traded it in, so I'd have to re-purchase the base game. Not sure I'll have time for it, but I really want to try to fit it in. Maybe I'll just wait for the "Enhanced Edition" to get its first sale at around $40, then buy it.

 
I missed out on the glitch at the time, but bought the season pass thinking I was going to get the game; however, I was able to pick up Dying Light for $15 on Black Friday from Walmart so ~$36 for all the content is fine with me. Still haven't played it yet....

Same here. I have it, but have not put much time into it because I couldn't convince my friends to purchase.

Woops for some reason I've been going bottom to top on the OP pic. I'm tired. Seems it is. But it's just improvements like guns or something. Enhanced is basically the game+season pass like a GOTY Edition

Thank you for mentioning this. I buy usually two or thee things a week from Amazon. Way more than half the things I could care less if I get it a week later. I never even looked down to see I could get credit for no rush shipping. I could have paid off amazon prime every year with those $2 credits.

Parkour Fever: Free DLC with parkour challenges and pretty ridiculous goal times. Hard as balls.

The Bozak Horde: 20 level timed challenges you can do solo or with up to three buddies. None of your equipment from the main game carries over. Hard as balls.

Basically, the game was pretty easy, and the DLC is kind of rough.

There's some weapon/outfit stuff, too.

My favorite current gen game. Still trying to complete the Bozak horde dlc, but I can't wait for the new expansion.

No, it's not like RE. It's a first-person zombie game that leans heavily on wild melee combat, with firearms as a secondary option. I've admittedly not played the RE games, but they don't strike me as comparable to Dying Light at all. DL is one of my favorite games in recent memory, to be honest. Traversal's really well-done, there are plenty of varied activities in the world, and the story is very strong. I've got no idea what it's prices at now, but the DLC-inclusive version is only a month or two from release, I think. Unless you can get the $20 Season Pass and a sub-$20 disc, waiting for that version might be better (IDK if it's going to be $60 or what).

I think this is accurate.

It has a lot of stupid parts (Dumb instakills mostly) but it is absolutely night and day a complete nuking of Dead Island from orbit.

 
Add me to the list, this game is far more than just a step above Dead Island...that game kinda sucked, this not only doesn't suck but is actually a great game.

On another note, If I beat the vanilla game and sold it already, and I decide to pickup the GOTY version with the new campaign and all that jazz, will my leveled-up character from my save file transfer over to the "complete edition" version or whatever they are calling it?

Yeah the parkour is pretty good in this game and works well in the zompie apoc. Add in the grappeling later and its a definite stepup from Dead Island. Getting the GOTY for 20-40 if you are new and a fan of Borderlands is great. Me and a friend just explored the map to start then I grabbed the grappel rushing through story. Im excited to see what the expansion brings and may jump back into it on PC.

Good game but I got stuck in an underground part after a screaming kid where the game throws a million enemies at you including the big brutes. Chapter 10 I think or something
 
Ah yeah, I got in on that glitch.   We should have a list, Top 5 Price Glitches of 2015.  There were a few of them; some I missed.

I beat the game and never looked back.  What was even in the Season Pass?  Been swamped with the backlog I haven't kept up with it anymore, but it looks like the worked on some expansion.  Maybe I'll check it out knowing it's free for SP owners

 
Best Buy has it listed as in store only. I went there and even with the SKU number could not get the system to sell the pass. It came up as unavailable. In the end gamestop made the sale.

 
Is anyplace selling the PS4 digital download for a good price? Kind of sucks that you can get the physical version from 20-35 bucks but the digital is $50.

 
I went the Amazon route. Only 9 codes left. Most likely will be the last we see of these codes at this price for X1 until a sale later in the year after the new expansion is out for a while.

I originally bought Dying Light only because Dead Island 2 was being delayed - I ended up liking it way more than the Dead Island games.

Got it from Amazon as well. It was "10 codes left" last night, but then 11 this morning when I checked. Still glad I locked in the price for the DLC.

Dying Light, by itself, is a complete version of the game. I got it day one and it was well worth the price, solo or coop. $25 is a great deal if you never played the game before.

I really hope along with expansion and all the updates that all of the trophy glitches are patched. There are at least 5 that wouldn't pop for me ..ugh...but as I went back I was amazed how much there is to Dying Light, I definitely need to get reacquainted before the expansion.
