How come there has been no info about this. Wasn't it supposed to come out a long time ago? I want to play as Wei Yan on my DS :cry:
 
If the game looked like ass on PSP, I can't imagine how atrocious it'd be on DS. It'd flicker more than NES Super Dodge Ball and slow down like SNES Gradius 3.
 
I'm not sure but I don't think its scrapped...Koei did release a very very short trailer teaser for it at E3 but with NO gameplay footage
 
There are a lot of games in development for the DS that we've yet to hear more info/any info at all about... just because a certain developer is suspiciously quiet about a specific game (or games) doesn't mean that they've canceled those games.

They originally planned to give the game a more simplified look (when it was going to be a japanese launch title) but it's over half a year since we've been given any real information. Even so, I doubt they've cancelled the game as it had a limited showing at E3.

I'd rather see Romance of the Three Kingdoms DS, honestly. That seems like it would fit the technology of the system better and, well, I have more fun with the Rot3K games anyway.

Not that a good Dynasty Warriors game would go unappreciated. It would just have to be a *good* one.
 
I don't believe that the game has been scrapped at all. I didn't even think it was supposed to have been released yet. I thought it was supposed to come out at the end of this year to sometime next year, but still, even with little information I think it's a little quick to assume the game has been canned.

Thanks for the useless comment. The man was just stating his opinion on Dynasty Warriors, and I can't help but say I agree. I mean it was fun the first time I played it, but I don't need 5 goddam versions of the same damn game.

Word is that there is a ROTK for DS on the way for Japan. I saw some screenshots of it here somewhere.

So it's proper form to jump in on every thread about a game, say it sucks and you're glad it is gettting canceled? That's the very definition of a threadcrap.
