If the Wii Speak bundle is qualified for the tradein promo with 2000 points, it's definitely a hot deal. Too bad I don't own Wii any more now....

Question: Will GS/EB have it on Sunday? I'm looking forward to getting the bundle and want to know when they'll have it.

Also, will this be at GS too, assuming Gamestop obviously bought EB out?

Yes, Canadian EB may have one for you, but I don't know if this is worth driving over the border. ;-)
 
Traded in Ninja Reflex (Wii, flipped from BBV) and Magical Starsign (from EB's sale of the game), gave a queen and now I have the set + card preordered, tho I'll have it a day late but eh, it'll be worth it. I am so screwed for time come Tuesday. "/
 
Sounds like a lot of us will be playing Animal Crossing. That'll work out well when we need different fruit or the one last piece of furniture to finish our rooms :)
 
Ugh. EB games gives me gas.

I tried to do this at the Guildford EB and they gave me a cross-eyed look. They don't have it. You just have to pick it up on the day they release it.

Luckily I have the main game pre-ordered, but ugh I don't want to have to fight for this, what did you say to get it pre-ordered?

Does anyone have the "code" perchance?

tell them to look in their email. it came down today from head office. 2000pt card with animal crossing bundle. its too bad the bundles are going to be 1 day late. :/

some shipping issue. no bundles arrived here in ontario (least not in my district). We got the regular versions and were left an email saying the bundles would be in monday. I will re-read the email tomorrow. I was way to busy tonight, still doing shipping at 8:30 :) its great when ups sends my boxes to 3 different stores and i have to go get them..

Are you really surprised? Hell, some places in western UStates already have the standalone disc on sale. Be glad we get a queen's worth of Wii points FOR FREE to clear the fridge then buy something to fill it with
buy Gradius 2 Gopher and Megaman 2/3

Gamer602: You betcha. because ups drops off the box and the box gets signed for (this is the stores fault for signing something not for them) then we have to somehow make arrangements to have the box delivered or we go pick it up. its both ups and ebgames problem. each store needs to be more vigilant and look at the address on their boxes when they are receving them instead of just signing away. I have had to go get 4 boxes this past week. Im heading into work shortly and i will read the email and repost later tonight when i get back about the animal crossing bundle
 
Yep it's true. I called my local EB Games, they said the bundle would be arriving Monday. If they don't have any knowledge on this deal. I guess I'll have to fight my way through. lol cause THIS DEAL IS HOT
 
Yeah, a few EBgames in this area like to play dumb with these deals. Especially if there are no flyers associated with it. Does any have one, or has seen one in stores?
 
But my problem is that I want to get AC for my wife to play tonight.

Sigh. I don't want to lose out on the points, and although I likely will never use Wii Speak, to have it and even save $5 off the price of a points card (which I can use for Tetris Party, yay!) would be nice.

Wonder if they'll do the bundle manually? Or something?
 
So, I'll have to check in tomorrow during lunch and see if the bundles are in. Lucky for me, EBgames is about two minutes walking from work.

I hear that this deal is supposed to be good until Nov 29th, so it's not just for preorders. I'd say to call ahead of time, still.
 
The EB in the Pen Centre (mall in St.Catharines) got the bundle but were sold out. All the other non-mall stores say its coming tomorrow. Did anyone pick up the bundle? How much was it and did you get the free points card?
 
Bad news guys. My EBGames who said they would be getting the bundle today, didn't get it... They said it would come around the end of the week... Sucks. I'll call again and again though.
 
Well, it has reportedly arrived in stores in Ontario so check with them.

As for me, I live in New Brunswick so the mules with the packages strapped to their backs have yet to arrive.

It's a great deal overall, but I've really soured on EB Games not being able to deliver the game on their two arrival dates (Sunday and then Monday) to my area.
 
finally got my preorder in at least.

No matter what, pick this up the first week, it's normally $74.99, but they offer $5 off the first week, they have to price adjust it.

Regardless, even at 74 it's still a good deal. Wii Speak may be something I never use, but I know I'll use a points card (Tetris Party, anyone?)
 
My store says they expect their shipment in today at 6pm. This works out okay, since I'm off at 5:30. 14 of them in too, so I don't think I'm going to miss out. And if they don't get them in today, I'll explode. :bomb:

Queen and Spadina in Toronto had the bundle in. Wii Points with no issues, just make sure to remind them about it. Yay!

My bundle arrived in Fredericton, New Brunswick this morning. Looks like it's arrived in the boonies. :)

The very friendly clerk put the WiiPoints card in the bag before I even had to think about asking, so it was pretty easy for me.
