Sweet.

Wow, only 2 ds titles so far on that list, btw when does E3 start?

From the E3 site:

* Mark your calendar as E3 will be opening its doors May 10-12, 2006
Los Angeles Convention Center
*
* Conference Program: May 9th—11th
Expo: May 10th—12th

sweet. right after finals, so I can watch some keynotes while I'm sitting on my ass doing nothing for a few days. :)

Ditto. It'll be nice to be able to get up to date info as this goes on.

But I'm amazed by the lack of DS games... only three? Yet there are 13 PSP games! Nintendo's only showing one game, which leads me to believe that the rest of their booth will be filled with Revo games. Nobody else is showing Revo games...:whistle2:(

It's still early, I'm sure Nintendo will have more than one game for the DS. If not, I'm going to............... write a strongly worded letter.

Just my random thoughts on E3 2006... I must say I'm pleasantly surprised.

- Megaman Battle Network 6, and another two versions at that! My guess is that it will still use the same recycled sprites, Lan will have to go through another tutorial mode because he's stupid, and I will end finding it for under $15 just like MMBN 1 - 5. And it's on GBA, to boot.

- Atlus is bringing out lots of RPG love to the GBA still... I love them.

- King of Fighters 2006 is coming to PS2...? And apparently its going to be in the US? Maybe we'll see alot of SNK's games starting hitting over here now that the next gen is starting to pick up? Kind of weird that Metal Slug is still in the works for GBA, now that PSP is getting an arcade perfect version.

- Microsoft's Xbox 360 lineup they are showing could convince alot of people to get a 360, myself included, as it looks to have 100% exclusive games (meaning they aren't even on PC)

- I really guess the GBA still has a good deal of life left in it.

I'm going to assume that if MS is going to show Ninety Nine Nights at E3, that it WILL come to the US. I'm happy about that. Surprised to see that UT2007 will only be shown for PS3 and PC. I can't imagine it won't be on 360. I'm hoping for some MGS4 news too (like there wouldn't be). I'm assuming RE5 will be at the show even though it's not on the list. And I'd like to see Huxley real time at the show too.
What?

Steambot Chronicles is a GBA game? I thought it was PS2?
As I recall, Steambot Chronicles is a long running series... I think its a port of the very first game to GBA, kind of like Tales of Phantasia.

1. Naruto: Ninja Council is already out.
2. Steambot Chronicles we are getting is a PS2 game (demo is already out)
3. the other atlus game is Yggdra Union (GBA)

My bad, it was Metal Saga that's a long running series that is also seeing a handheld iteration.

King of Fighters 2006 = Maximum Impact 2, which has always been for PS2.

Well that's weird... are you sure? When did they start calling MI 2 by that name? Because there is a KoF 2006 I believe, and the Maximum Impact name was always just Maximum Impact.

EDIT: I guess you're right... so there is no 2D KoF 2006?

I think if I was going I'd just bring a lawn chair and plant myself firmly in Capcom's booth for the duration of the event.

It was announced at GDC.

KoF has gone 3D, and I don't believe they're looking back to 2D.

We already know that Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will be shown at E3, so clearly there will be more absent from the list.

disappointing to not see Daigasso Band Bros. on that list, but then again it's still early. hopefully someone is putting it out so I don't have to release it.

hooray for Capcom.
Only 360 games from Microsoft so far, I guess they really are giving up on Xbox.
They gave up on the Xbox a long long time ago.
Nintendo
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Cube)
Yep I knew my Gamecube was pretty much dead, this just puts the nail in the coffin.

well it is only in US that they are changing MI2 to 2006. Might be a way to boost sales with the confussion. XI would still be the sequal to the main storyline.
