I'm looking to buy someones E3 pass. If you're willing to sell me the last two days of the show pm me. I'm in Orange County, CA, so I could pick up the pass if you're local.

I'm pretty sure you can't buy passes from people. I think they have picture ID and all that on there. It's not like a ticket to a sports game..

i've said this in so many threads before - unless you're going as media, it is REALLY not worth it. all the truly cool stuff is by appointment-only, and standing in line behind walmart worker bees to play unfinished games is not fun. if you can wrangle a media pass go for it, but otherwise don't spend a dime. you'll regret it. and yes, you WILL get ID'ed.

When I went last year the only time I got asked for my ID was when I picked up my badge. The rest of the time they just checked my badge everytime I went from one hall to another. That said it could change this year. They don't have photo ID on them, but I suppose they can alwas ask you for one if they choose to. Also, yeah all the best stuff is reserved for media, but there's plenty of stuff to see for general admission, most likely you'll end up waiting in line for it though. For example at Nintendo's booth we walked up at our appointment time and got ushered through to play Twilight Princess, while everyone else waited in line for 2-3 hours. General admission will still get you to see the big stuff, and the free stuff, and even some contests. Good luck getting passes everyone.

Nah, here's what an E3 pass looks like

They do check for picture ID when you go to get the badge holder, so you can probably use it when that's acquired.

In 1997 and 1998 it was held in Atlanta, both years at the GWCC, with 1997 having some exhibits on the floor of the Georgia Dome.

I just got the okay for my media badge because I waited til the last minute, but I'm in now and am now only waiting for my thumbs up to get into the pre-E3 press conference for both Nintendo and Microsoft. If I go next year, I'm jumping in as early as possible, so as to avoid all this hassle.

I'm flying in on Tuesday so I'm gonna basically miss all the conferences. No big, I'll just read what happened during the night.

Back in 05 my sister had a friend give me a pass that only the last name was correct. The first name listed on the badge wasn't my name. But thankfully no one carded me.
