Uhm, okay. So, then why Temco make the seemingly suicidal decision to move it's two flagship titles, Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, to the Xbox, and leave the PS2 behind?

You're totally right. All that money Microsoft gave to Tecmo/Team Ninja to help develop the titles was totally a suicidal decision on Tecmo's part.
No, wait. That's the opposite of suicidal decision. They were already seeing profits without actually releasing a product. Don't kid yourself. Team Ninja didn't develop titles on the Xbox platform because it was so awesome and ultra powerful. Tecmo needed money. Microsoft had money and needed titles to draw in gamers (Back when Halo was looking like a turd, Munch was looking like an overpriced turd, and Fuzion Frenzy couldn't appeal its way out of a paper sack). It was a perfect match.
More Rare news is always welcomed. I am questioning that they'd announce so many new projects however. The Battlefront 3 rumor has been drifting around for a while. If it is a 360 exclusive, I'd expect any sort of single player campaign to be scrapped in favor of the mutliplayer experience. Though, Lucas won't turn down the potential money from other console sales.
