E3 Sony Press Conference Discussion Thread

Why don't they just get it over with and make the PSP Go a cell phone? Make it one of the few wi-fi phones that doesn't require a data plan and people would be all over that shit.

I've been unimpressed thus far. I do have to applaud them for REALLY pushing the PSP, though, even with the massive pricing screw-up with the Go(!).
 
They lost at $250 PSP go price. Unless they can make all new releases $10 off or better the cost savings won't be reflected for go users.

I take it you've never played the DJ Max series. Assuming you haven't, i'll forgive the fact that you don't know what you're missing.
 
When it comes to PS Home, I don't get it. I mean, gamers already get a stereotype of anti-social. But now they are just encouraging not going outside ever. :)
 
The best thing about PSP go is the push the PSP will receive from it. We are getting new PSP games from not only Sony, but also RE and Metal Gear. So the PSP will probably have another one or two years in it or more left of heavy content even if the GO! ends up failing.
 
Nintendo's conference wasn't great, but the pacing was better. They'd give us something good, then a couple boring things. Then something good. Then more boring. Then, they finished strong. I also feel like they did a better job listening to the criticism they've received, and for the most part, have addressed it. This conference has been boring for some time now. I really hope Sony's got a big finish.

I think people have lost the meaning of what the E3 press conferences are supposed to be.

To the guy bitching about games - wow. What do you think E3 is for? At least Sony's showing off more than the like.. what, 8 or 9 that MS showed.

About the bitching, though... yeah, it's great that they're showing more games, but I'd at least like to KNOW WHAT THEY ARE when I'm seeing them. Seriously, some title cards would've done wonders.
